Me and my friend were walking down a road that is slightly downhill, and this black audi a4 just suddenly swerves on to the pavement and was cm's away from hitting me at 40-50mph, he/she did this to avoid the speed bumps.

He/she did it all the way down the road, I had never seen anything like it before (it was about lunch time)

There was a guy walking in the opposite direction who afterwards said "Do you know that driver" he probably said that because young drivers do tend to muck about more.

Luckily nobody was hurt and my mate just about remembered the persons number plate, so what can we do about it?

Should have given him a sound thrashing on the spot, then burned his car.

Tell police? Should have got other persons details as a witness to their driving skills?

It was probably more like 30 mph (pedestrians ALWAYS over estimate speeds). Also, how was he mounting the pavement? Bouncing up the curbs?

Was there no curb??

I doubt he was mounting he pavement at 40-50 mph..

No there wasn't a kerb, the reason why is because recently lots of houses got permission to have a driveway and to have there kerb dropped.

And to anyone who thinks I am lying about this whole thing can shove off.

I'm not saying you are lying, its just I cant picture a residential road without a kerb..

Yeah thanks for clearing up the meal time in question. That certainly helps paint the picture.

Op - sprinkle keys from an old keyboard all over the road next time you see him doing it. He will skid and crash. I suggest doing this around dinner time.

I'm sorry Sir, you're clearly a fool.

It'd work better around elevenses

:p

If you have the reg number and an eye witness then report the incident to the police, what else could you do?
