Didn't get any rain in any races, Was in first all races but came to last lap and it all fell to pieces I can't handle the pressure of racing I think :p

I am starting to suffer from my old GT problem of Last Lap Syndrome :D
 
Pro tip: Want to level you second third or fourth B-spec numpties up quickly? Bring them out for a single lap in a long, high level race your main B-speccer is racing in. My level for is now level 7 after having taken part in a level 22 race :D
 
OK, I've had enough of this nascar **** now. Leading the whole time on Daytona and some ****whit spins me on the final corner. Damn it!
 
The Toms Castrol Supra (aka the most awesome car in GT 2 3 and 4) has been updated to premium :D And I have one :D

I also just won a Prius. In other, unrelated, news I just sold a Prius :D

You can't lead from the front, you have to lead from the back until the last lap :p

You obviously have a problem as the castrol supra is poo the Calsonic Skyline however is the most awesome car ever in any GT game :p :)
 
Glad I'm not the only Insomniac around here. :D

My B-Spec numpties are 20 mins away from victory at 4 hours of Tsukuba, which is probably the reason I can't sleep, :rolleyes: , so I've given up trying now and have decided to get brekkie and have a few goes on A-Spec when they're done and hopefully I'll find an F1 in used car dealer. :confused:. :)

EDIT: WOW, got all of 32,200 and a Mazda 110S '67 for winning a 4hr race, pathetic PD :rolleyes:
wasn't all bad though as B-Spec increased by 121,577 points.

I've tried everything I can do I just can't complete it in first. Leading from the back always results in me dropping out of slipstream distance by lap 4. being a couple of places up results in a spin out (****ing AI). Being in the middle forces me to get stuck there, 3rd 2nd and 1st results in a spin. If I can get that race done I'll bother with the others, but seeing as I can't there is no reason to do the others.

Pretty bored of it already. My main gripe with the game is the soundtrack. Out of all those songs you'd think there'd be at least one good one, by sheer dumb luck if nothing else. It's appalling.

Theres probably about 75% of the game that I'm appallied at, but I know I'll have put it on the shelf in a few days or weeks, never to be touched again after going back to PC Sims, so it's not too bad for now, just getting as much done on it untill that time so I atleast get some moneys worth from the thing, and may even complete what I intend to complete in time to sell it on. :)
 
In that sense I thinking it had come out when it was supposed to then I'd be fairly happy, but this is nowhere near two generations better than the last one.
 
The only thing I can think of right now that seems even one generation better are the visuals.

I keep questioning myself wether I think that KY or anyone else at PD for that matter has actually driven a car in real life (even though he has) going off the way some cars handle and the effects of setup changes that have such dramatic affects on the car at the wrong times. (Downforce and slip streaming at sub 50MPH, aswell as camber angles come to mind)

The prize cars that are given are ridiculous, in GT of old you'd get a car that you could use in future events or even the same spec as what you'd just won in, but in GT5 you get prize cars for events you completed ages ago and already have a car for, plus theres no manufacturer events to even have a single use for those prize cars and about 95% of the 1000 or so there are in the game. :rolleyes:

What you have hit on though is that it was surely pushed out the door in time for xmas.

For some reason I'm still putting in way too many hours on it though. :rolleyes:

Really want to do the endurance races but the reward for these races dont seem to good for the amount of time you have to put into doing them from what some people have said , i have only done the first endurance race and this week used b-spec most of the time .
