***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

In that sense I thinking it had come out when it was supposed to then I'd be fairly happy, but this is nowhere near two generations better than the last one.

1 generation, and if you don't like the in game music you can add your own soundtrack. Also as far as I know it was only delayed once in the EU region, and it wasn't a large one. :)

It's not really the same now is it.

Pathetic you said lol. Cant get any better than having the actual track in game.

As for the new Forza game. I honestly hope they go all out and raise the bar. PD require a little kick up the bottom!

Imo you can do a lot better than just having the track.

FM got the rights to Top Gear about 1 year after the game had been released. GT was built around having the track in the game and all we got was 3 of the most infuriating races in the game. They don't have any of the reasonably priced cars in the game and not one of the top ten leaderboard cars.

Why did you even bring Forza into this anyway?

Excellent, I didn't realise that. How do you add music?

I said 2 generations because that's how much better it should have been, not because I think that from the last one of something to a new one is two gens

Go to the options menu and go into audio and select user bgm (or something like that you'll see it anyway) then add your files or playlists so much better than the poop on there :p

Plus you'll get a trophy for doing so :)

What sort of machinery do you need for the Supercar Race Series at Pro level?

I've got a Lambo 670-4 SV which is untuned (yet!) and was wondering if I tune this will I be ok with it?

Looks like Top Gear USA footage (Amongst others) It irritates me hugely when companies put out trailers like that, they have virtually NO actually game footage, so why bother (And its not just for Forza)

It's just a teaser to start the hype machine. For every person that shares your 'pointless' opinion, there are multiple others who are already starting to get excited.

At the end of the day, it's all about profit, and you do whatever it takes to make it.

What more is there to TG than the track though?

As for Forza, I was responding to the post made earlier by someone else!

Noticed something in B-Spec mode. Not sure if this is common knowledge.

Consistant quick laps can be achieved by keeping the mood niddle in or around the very middle. Sticking with this strategy produced quick lap times.

Keep your driver in the blue is not a good idea. Doing so will make them take corners far too slowly.

Give it a try and let me know how you get on.
