Alternatively, it'll be a bit cold. Take sensible precautions but don't be 'that guy' who empties 58 loaves of bread into his Sainsburys trolley.

No need to panic you have time to plan ahead, a bit more food and coal etc

Where I live if it snows I cannot get the car up the hill and its a fair stomp to the shops, the bins are left and the coal lorry will not drive down the hill. I have Gas CH but use the open fire as its so much warmer and cosier.

A break is coming, a break is coming and not just some three-day let-up in the northwest. I dont know why people buy bread and milk when bad weather comes. It goes off after like 5-7 days... Surely Tinned food would be the logical choice. Its pre cooked (Mostly) and lasts forever!
