I got excited over Nacer Barazite, Ben Amos, DJ Campbell, Joseph King, Fabian Delph and Ashley Williams on frees for my second le champ (new name for the championship here) as Burton Albion :cool:

Played this game to death almost. Accidently had to restart twice.

Played as Burnley and got to Europe in my third season.

Top signing was Guida Fofana -2m+ and 12kp/w He is young and better than most in the champ. I also read he has a very high potential rating.

Also Ahmed Soukouna. Great potential striker. Good mental stats and not bad physical. Can be a striker in the champ at 19 and French so gets on well with Fofana

Also bought Dos Santos in the champ for 7m+ but he get's greedy when in the prem, he wanted 79kp/w I told him to shove off.

In 3 seasons in the Premiership we came 11th, 8th, 6th, (in that order) so hopefully with those signings we should push on for a champions league spot.

Will probably restart from scratch and go non-league with a massive database and a load of leagues running after Xmas. :D

Niceeee... The lower leagues are fun, more than enough free players that are out there that are pretty good to live the football dream :D

I saw that! Me and a mate are really frustrated they havnt updated Chaplow's loan deal to soton yet as well :( (he got so excited that chaplow scored on his birthday last month too)

Its the jan update that'll do all the transfers and loans... :)
 
just bought this of steam anyone suggest a good game to get started not that great with tactics and stuff.

Just started a new game with Sheffield Wednesday :)

SI Released a data edit for the things they missed :D

Can find a link easily from their forums / patch notes page, managed to get it working :)
 
I'm now 9 matches away from end of season 1, leading by 30 points, still not lost a game, except Carling cup 1st round when I drew away to Middlesborough.

Wondering who I can grab to help in League 1 and further.

Just finished a really exciting 1st season with Man Utd. Won the title on the final day after Everton lost. Almost got fired twice earlier on in the season as well! :)

Got rid of trouble makers like Nani, Berbatov and Evra. Brought in Coentrao, Gago, Khedira (loan), Shawcross and Ninis.

Playing 4 1 3 1 1 and it seems to be working great. Possession has gone up to around 60% average after using a defensive midfielder.
 
After a game getting Coventry into the Premiership (somehow!), I've opted for one of those 'huge career games'. Starting at the world-famous Sport Huancayo!

Also, am I the only person who usually plays a few games with fake players, for an added challenge and twist of intrigue?
 
Hey guys I just bought this through Steam, I probably shouldn't have paid £20 for it but meh, it's Christmas. Just a quick question which may have been answered already but this thread is 14 man sized pages long and the game has only been out a month so please excuse me. :(

Can I use all my proper badges and logos from FM2010 in this?

Yes :)

Just move the files in the graphics folder from the fm2010 to the fm2011 folder in mydocs/sports interactive.
