Just about to turn 30 in 10 mins in B-Spec. Going to have a bash at this in the morning. Hope I can get it, should make the endurance races a weeny bit faster :D
 
is there actually weather effects in this game? i heard of changing weather and seen adverts with rain etc but im almost finished the second last league and not seen any weather :(

I just got really bored with it and felt like I was missing out after selling all the prize cars on the first playthrough, but the junk it's given me this time makes me think I should have just carried on before. By the way, you haven't been on your PS3 for about 6 months now, come back. :(

In that case it's a wallowy old Hector. Look out for the godlike Escudo Pikes Peak in the used car dealership but be prepared and make sure you have a big wad of cash cos you don't wanna miss it and it's likely to be a fair few million.

Ah, fair enough. Not something I would have done though! :p

I know. :( I will be back on it later today though, finally feeling better. Probably can't play properly now though... had a go on Black Ops at my cousin's and I was completely awful.

A shade under 2 million, it's popped up a few times for me. Got a picture of it but didn't have a reason to buy it.

I've been alternating between Black Ops and GT5, I was terrible at Black Ops when first going back to it after the solid 2 weeks of GT5, but you'll pick it up quick no problems. Now, gimme all your good cars!

I'd buy it just for the lulz. I doubt it will be competitive on a proper track against the Le Mans cars but it's worth a buy just to play the rally tracks. I wish they kept the Suzuki Cultus Pikes Peak which they had in GT2, that car was awesome as well.

They changed the name, but it is the same car. It even said in the description that it was the champion of Pike's Peak.

Just tried the Red Bull X1 race. Holy crap it is hard!. It's like WipEout HD on steroids!! :eek:
 
i have a soft spot for the old tvr cerbera model i seen one in the used dealer and went and got enough money for it to find it disapeared when i got the 69k :(

that car pwned gt1 with the right gearing, probably the best car in the game :)

There is a god!

Found this on GTP and it's working great for my B-Spec at the moment!

A lot of people saying they are having trouble with this. Here is my B-spec drivers setup, He won every race with ease.

Jeff Gordan #24 IMPALA

Dont forget to change your oil

Race 1

Front Downforce - 45
Rear Downforce - 45
Front Breaks - 1
Rear Breaks - 0
Front Ride Height - -30
Rear Ride Height - -30
Transmission/ Top Speed - 249MPH

Just keep telling bob to overtake and he will win by a huge margin.

Race 2

Front Downforce - 45
Rear Downforce - 45
Front Breaks - 1
Rear Breaks - 0
Front Ride Height - -30
Rear Ride Height - -30
Transmission/ Top Speed - 219MPH

Race 3

Front Downforce - 45
Rear Downforce - 45
Front Breaks - 1
Rear Breaks - 0
Front Ride Height - -30
Rear Ride Height - -30
Transmission/ Top Speed - 236MPH

Dont push bob too hard on this one, otherwise you will pit in on your last lap for a tire change and lose the race.

Race 4

Front Downforce - 45
Rear Downforce - 45
Front Breaks - 1
Rear Breaks - 0
Front Ride Height - -30
Rear Ride Height - -30
Transmission/ Top Speed - 224MPH

Race 5

Front Downforce - 35
Rear Downforce - 55
Front Breaks - 2
Rear Breaks - 2
Front Ride Height - 15
Rear Ride Height - -15
Spring Pressure - 18.5
Transmission/ Top Speed - 249MPH

This one is a bit hit and miss. Just hit "Increase Pace" then "Overtake" one after the other, do this constantly till you take first.


All of the above settings should work just fine on A-spec. Good luck

Right that 4hr Mx-5 race definitely sends me to sleep after every 40 odd minutes I'm now on my second break, I need a break from it after having a bump into the walls getting woken up by the force feedback :D
 
i just start watching something on my pc and then start b spec, eg i had a veyron in the sunday cup while watching stuff on my pc and if the maxxed out veyron ever loses ill kick my 250 gig ps3 slim out the window for been dumb :)
 
Ok 2nd and 3rd sebastian loeb special stages are doing my tree in if i'm not tapping the wall and getting dq'd i'm half a second too slow. And yes before anyone asks i'm driver aids off no tc, manual gears etc etc
