AMD Catalyst 10.12 drivers released - the BIG one!

these give me flickering at the bottom the the 2 outer monitors :(

I have similar but far worse issues, think its to do with OC speeds

When i switch on my OC profile the 2d clock is 157/300 with lots of annoying flicker and black bars all over the place randomly on the 2nd monitor.

When I got to default clocks my idle 2d clock becomes 400/1000 and all is fine.

Probably not helped that my 2nd monitor is running on VGA on the DVI port

Any idea when the official 10.12 drivers will be out? I would have thought it would be on the release of the 69** cards??

Checking AMD's site, and trying to go to the drivers page, there's an error and it keeps clearning your selections :/

AMD has opened the champers after the Windows Hardware Quality Labs praised its Catalyst graphics drivers to the skies. The labs claimed that the drivers were the most reliable and “push the limits of innovation with advanced user-oriented features”.

The Catalyst drivers offer controls for power users, tweaks for gamers and video enthusiasts, simple wizard-assisted setup, easy multi-monitor configuration, and ultra reliable operation for professionals, the labs added.

Ben Bar-Haim, corporate vice president of software for AMD Products Group said that the plans were to add more to the AMD Catalyst software including a new interface. AMD is pleased because it sees Microsoft's labs as being independent.

i'd also suspect clocks if it weren't for all 3 gpu's sticking to 400core/stock mem, i've disabled ulps so it doesn't bang the non-primary gpu's down to 0 (tried it enabled too, same results).

i've got my middle monitor on DP and the outer 2 on dvi also.

it's weird, sometimes it won't do it, but after running say, vlc, foobar or a video on iplayer/4od, it'll do it... sometimes it'll do it right from boot. i don't get it

Ouch! Tried disabling flash hardware acceleration?

That would deem the test pointless ;)

AMD/ATI make great video cards, just a shame they employ a bunch of useless morons to do the drivers, I would have considered a new card but they have let me down every release since 10.4b for good drivers for games, I mean its great they improve unigene benchmark results each driver release,,,, NOT

You'd be surprised how many fixes have been implemented since.

Actually above is not true, after a restart of pc after the flash settings had been changed (had already restarted a few times after installation of driver) same problems. Driver restarts and I lose the flash picture!

Bah, it's unofficial overclocking that causes this crashes. Set 2d/3d profiles and everything will be fine (until you try watching a flash video whilst having a game in the background :p).

I would like to think the drivers are indeed awsome on my 5870, but to behonest other than me imagining things, hard to really see the difference, unless you run fraps.

However currently only have one game which is BFBC2, ad that runs great anyway.

TO be fair I'm having HDTV issues when using multiple displays :(

The flickering on my LG 26" HDTV makes watching films on that display impossible, what the hell did they break in 10.11 and 10.12?

Ive updated from 10.8 to 10.12 and seem it lots better on my Asus 5870 V2 plus new CCC2 that nice look to replace old one - no problems at all...

i would give up gameing after all the bad news i hear about it, i was looking forward to this then crysis 2, but that turns out its gonna be nvidea coded right down to the core and now i cant sell my cards for more than pennys. think ill get a lappy and hoy ma machine out the window :D

Heehe that's what I did 3-4 years ago. The urge soon takes over when the console kiddies on Xbox Live drive you to this.

Where is that pic of the dude when Iraq first got raided, where he said "Everything is awesome, Iraqi forces are winning" ?
