Well, while I was at College it'd appear you've finally figured out my Heaven benchmark was a fabrication.

I'm sorry if you feel lied to.

But the only reason you feel hard done by as it's what you all wished for, that's not my fault you believed it.
 
Don't care personally, I'm more bothered by the double standards I'd have never heard the end of it from those posters above if I'd have done it.


EDIT: Tho its a bit poor as it seems several people used those results as a significant part of their basis for rushing out and buying the new cards.

I just typed in a random number that was higher than the current driver model.

I honestly never told them to buy the cards.

Rroff does have a point though.. It appears as if quite a few people saw your Heaven image and bought the cards as a result :o
 
Maybe not the best idea - but creating a thread attacking you was not the best idea too - bit sad really its only a gfx card!! think people take this all a bit too seriously. I didnt get one in the end - so no hard feelings!
 
I for one think it was very wrong to post fake results. As taken has pointed out a lot of people would have been wowwed by your scores and got the card on the strength of the benchmark thinking they was GTX580 beaters and clearly they are not.

OcUK forums is a place for genuine advice (or supposed to be) not what you have done.

I for one do not forgive what you have done sorry.

There were benchmarks from OCUK and legitimate owners.
There was 0 reason to believe me.
