EDIT : Logically, there's no reason to go from a 470 SLI to a 6950 Xfire.
It'd be a waste of money.

If you want an upgrade, wait until 28nm.
 
I may be able to get a 6950 this year... would having a 450w psu be too little? It's the corsair modular one.

450w is the recommended power,you should be ok unless you have something like an i7 that is heavily overclocked with extra voltage etc.

I have an E5300. :p

No voltage increases on anything and one hard drive with an LG optical drive. Should be fine then! \o/

What's even better is that people never forget. When people mature and grow less passionate after having online wars about graphics cards, we sit and remember about all the grrr, bah, pff remarks and make sure they never forget they said that or acted that way.

A bit like being out with a friend who after consuming one too many drinks ends up urinating on himself to the delight of friends who quickly and secretly mentions it to a female in the group who points it out in a loud voice and everyone lulz the night away.

came into this thread hoping to see pictures of OCUK covered in snow and Gibbo doing doughnuts in the car park, only to be greeted by a pic of some gfx cards :rolleyes:

This includes faking that you got 6970 for review with special drivers and special Haven fabricated benchmarks. :D
