Yeah, very! Some of the pics she posts seem to be very normal pics rather than the ones you might find on certain sites.

Not going to follow her, too much chance of my boy picking up my phone!

most that I pay attention to are people I know or have come recommended by friends and I've got to know on twitter. There's quite a big social scene in Manchester built around communicating on twitter.
 
Im going to come across as being really ignorant here but....

What exactly is twitter and why do people use it?

I understand why people have facebook accounts or myspace but i hear the talk about twitter all the time (especially by celebs) and think that i should look into it, but then i dont bother, so please educate me.

As far as i can tell its a mobile phone social networking thing...yes/no ???
 
As far as i can gather its just the status update aspect of facebook and nothing more. Basically a new way for attention whores to post about even more useless ****.

It's not really social networking any more than blogger or similar are. It's a micro-blogging site, you have your feed which you can add to/remove things from, and people can subscribe to you and you can subscribe to other people.

At it's most base and pointless use it could be seen to be facebook statuses, at it's most useful it could be anything that can be enclosed within 140 characters. What you get out of it as a reader obviously depends on who you subscribe to (follow), and if you want to contribute then unless you're a celebrity the quality of your contributions will usually show in how many people read what you're saying

people who "get" twitter don't use it in this way, and the only way you'll see anyone who does is through choice as it's subscription based.

most notable was when she was drunk at the races, her mate posted a video of her flashing, she retweeted it.
She's posted other pics etc though.
 
ThatKevinSmith - the film maker, of "he's made films that are generally nerdy so i don't expect to have to list them in a nerd forum" fame. Really tweets out some interesting stuff from time to time, long multi-tweet monologues about inspiration and getting involved with things, and does nice Q&A sessions too
