I didn't say you mentioned PhysX.you called him a fanboy for what he'd said in the quote, which was about PhysX. If PhysX didn't cross your mind, why did you call them a fanboy for saying PhysX was crap?
If he hasn't had said PhysX was crap, you probably wouldn't have quoted him calling him a fanboy, how does this not make sense to you?

Hmmm. I would go amd but the 570s r good too. Depends if you want 3d as amd will probably b cheaper and they use DP
I would stick with ATI so you don't have driver issues.
Ati will have cheaper 3d on the future. For your general need i would say that bpth cards are equal. I would go 6950 because it has more mem and is cheaper in the long run...snip

I called him a fanboy because that's exactly what he is, go check some of his posts, here's a few classics from him for your delectation.
As for being impartial, I never said I was.Have a look through his posts for more clarification of what I mean.
Oh, and to try and call me out on my impartiality is quite simply stunning coming from you
That is all.

You never answered my question
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=18051586&postcount=586850 prices aren't that bad as they are, £125 is probably a bit better though, sub £150 can mean £149.99. If a 6950 doesn't justify its price at £200, a 6870 at £170 doesn't either.
so if the 6950 doesn't justify its price at 200 how can you justify a 5870 priced at 188?

Because they're practically equals in terms of performance, and the 5870 comes with a game.

I have to agree. If I had to choose between the 6950 and 5870, I'd pay a little more and go for the 6950, as mainly the 5870 doesn't has voltage tweak, and then secondly the 6950 has more RAM and performance much better of tessellation. So a game swings it?
Fact is the 6950 is faster scales better in xfire, significant increase in tessellation performance, and has 3D and DP 1.2 plus and an extra 1GB ram.
Your reasoning is flawed. I merely just wanted to highlight the fact.

Just make sure you use something like MSI Afterburner for setting your own custom fanspeed profile and increase the speed accordingly as the temp goes up, as the default fanspeed profile with the driver doesn't increase the fanspeed much until too hot.hey guys,
i have made my mind up and going for this card
