pieplough, the other evening when you and i were in the same squad on beer drinkers, (shooting choppers down in a tank:D), did you get disconnected as well? Curious as to wether it was the server or my crappy wireless adapter.

I have had a few disconnects recently but I really cant remember sorry. My router is also a peice of utter ****!
 
Ive had a few disconnects on bc2, more so since nam was released, however my usb wireless adapter is a bit iffy as well. Gonna invest in a set of home plugs as long ethernet cables arent an option, my other ancient pc is connected to the router, but the two systems are a fair distance from each other and my gaming rig and monitor wouldnt fit where the other rig is.
 
So finaly got my finger out and bought this!

Dam game won't accept my CD key from steam, anyone else have this problem?
Seen a thread of two in the web about some keys taking several hours to activate? meh..

Cheaters really do ruin it for everyone, mainly because of all the whining that goes on about cheating, and the blanket rules enforced to try and stop any potential cheaters.

The admins who run that server don't like people who are better than them, been kicked twice now from their server, won't be returning!
 
Is the new Battlefied Bad Company Vietnam digital download only ? Dont really like the EA store much on account of hearing too many bad things about it.

I wanted a hard copy as my BFBC2 is a hard copy so cant really go with steam.
 
Yep, if youve got the latest bc2 patch, (2gb ono) you already have vietnam, just gotta pay for the code to unlock it.

This is true, been on several servers but havent found one to call home just yet! i was just hoping for a server where i could get used to the game though i dont mean one just full of noobs but one that isnt full of "pros" lol. Ive been doing pretty well, i pretty much always roll sniper depending on map.
 
I succumbed....bought SpecAct kits......

Damn my impulsive nature and general lack of gaming purchase self-control.......

These Steam sales are ruining me :D
 
man i wanna see my stats hope its sorted soon, i know my k/d has gone up on nam im getting a min of 2/1 and i must be near platinum on the m16 :D

Yeah it just says team actions since Vietnam was released, which could mean vanilla BC2 but then it might not. I've been playing that more than Vietnam recently and it would be nice to think I'm contributing to the total with my team actions! :)

yeah seems all actions in vanilla count too.

The "consoles" vs Pc way of, looking at it the consoles are actually winning if you combine the ps3 and xbox totals.


But per platform the pc is winning.

Don't know if that's down to player numbers or if pc players live longer so end up using more med kits/ammo, or are just better team players :p

True but games like CoD, doesn't that sell millions on consoles but only like 200,000 on the PC worldwide or something. So I would have expected the PC to be a distant distant last. Glad to see such a strong showing :)
