Thanks lol. Apart from you not being able to read the graphs(which we're working on), any other reasons you didn't like my review? To sum it up, the 6850 gets beaten constantly. I can't see how you're missing it!
You my friend are incorrect...
If you were getting two. I'd say get 6850's.
If you're getting one, you'd get a 5850.
That simple.
I changed it in the last review I did to horizontal: http://www.vortez.co.uk/articles_pages/his_amd_radeon_hd_6950_2gb_review,10.html
But I agree I'm still not happy with it. I was hoping to go for the Techpowerup look but Excel can be hard to configure sometimes to just how I want it.![]()
What if you want to add another down the line?
See what I'm getting at...
Its so simple to get!
6850's are about on par with 5850 crossfire.

OP's not interested in Xfire.
You're honestly just making a prat of yourself.

And what if he didn't want to add another down the line?
OP has already made a decision
You are making a prat out of yourself for not noticing
This thread has grown since then
Makes no difference if you go 5850 and down the line go another 5850
Okay guys you can stop now, My friend ordered a MSI 5850 after the reading the thread, now I just got to get him to overclock it
Thanks for the advice/opinions!![]()
why
the two 5850 are roughly = 5970.
they look lvl to me and they will run cooler with this heatsink on. This 5850 MSI TWIN FROZR is a non-brainier in single or crossfire configuration over the 6850...
