Got the Extreme series 100% complete and got the trophy for it. Gave me a level 21 gift ticket which gave me a 2D Race Car '67

Set endurance race 8 of 9, 24 Hours of Lemans going earlier, 5 hours down 19 to go. At least I'll get another free car as a birthday bonus at the end of it

Okay, I have given up Like The WInd with a ZR1, the first Daytona track I managed 2nd by 7 seconds but the oval I can't even get into the top 10

Is there anyone willing to lend me a Minolta Toyota 88C-V or a different competitive car for those two races?

If you look on the Gtplanet forum there is a great thread for setting up the ZR1 for the indy track. I used it and won first time, never had to lift off at any point around the track, this was even when i hadnt run it in to its 905 BHP max think it was around 888 at that time.

That's quite odd, I managed the oval after a few attempts but needed a quicker car for the other race just couldn't do it. You got the right tyres? all driving aids off? Downforce turned right up?

I used this tuning from GTplanet to win all races in All Star (Expert) and Like The Wind (Extreme) pretty comfortably.

You can tune it before purchasing RM too, you just need to refit the parts by clicking on "tuning" whilst in your garage as RM remove all tuning but you still keep the parts.

Strange, I had to slow down to 175mph to make the corners, I guess I must be doing something wrong :confused:

Maybe I don't have soft racing tyres but intermediate, would that make a big difference?

Noob question, what on earth is race modded, especially a race modded ZR1?

I'm guessing that it is either:

1. Buy ZR1 from dealership and modify in tuning shop /aero garage.
2. There is some type of race spec ZR1 that appears/is won then you modify said race version?

Buy the premium car from the new dealership and go to gt auto and there is a option to turn the car into a fully fledged race car also you cant do that with all cars just some .

The older the better in GT5 because of engine bed in and oil change my minolta is at 1040BHP

Mine doesn't go over 1000BHP any more because I've done 20k+ miles with it

Need an engine replacement but can't see a single point in spending 500 grand on it.

EDIT: Woohoo only 10 hours of the poxy endurance race left

jimmy - I can send over my Astra or alternatively you can have the Audi touring car which I just remembered I spent over a million buying for no particular reason other than I liked the look of it lol The Audi is unmodified though and I have literally no money to do anything with it now. The Astra has a stage 3 turbo for extra beef though.
