So I went to ASDA last night...

my dad was in sainsburys the other day and was almost finished with shopping when he saw two guys were fighting each over the last tub of celebrations, He said it was stupid, he broke it up and gave his one to them so they'd stop arguing and they just stormed of without as much as a thank you.

That's really pathetic :/

I was trying to do a normal shop in Sainsbury's today just before lunch and everyone was going crazy in there. I can understand people not wanting to get fresh things too soon but most of their items were dry products such as chocolates etc.

I had to pretty much walk along the aisle and quickly scan around for what I wanted otherwise if I stopped I would've had several people pile into me.

Doesn't help that the store is really tiny. The only good bit of my trip was that the girl assisting with the self service checkouts thought I was 23 :D

Although I now need more food for tomorrow night :/ but thankfully my mum is braving it anyway so she's getting the bits for me :D

I normally wander down to Asda at 2/3 am to get sweets.

<3 m&m's om nom nom.

Went a few years ago to Marks and Sparks pre Christmas (just to pick something up as my 'rents had gotten all the Christmas shopping) and it was ****ing carnage. I honestly haven't seen trolly rage like it. Incredible.

Haha, spot on!

Where I work, the attractive girls on checkouts usually get moved up to customer services, which is nice. More reason to wander over there and ask for things I don't even need, like staplers or empty DVD boxes or whatever I can think of.

Is looking 23 good or bad?

As far as I can work out most girls like the fact that I look a bit older than 23  while I would prefer to just look my age for now, and never above 23 for the rest of my life :D

I work on the Music, Games & Videos department at my local asda, complete chaos :(

Pro tip: If you're a thief, head to the stores in the south west. 3 stores in the area have ran out of security tags for cd's :p

I found it rather funny how there was an absolutely enormous queue for self checkout tills yet on the other side of the shop was another set of exactly same tills empty and there's barely 45 seconds of walking between the two :p

I don't normally use Asda and i dont know how out of date i am but £40 for a turkey i was in deep shock, ok they were a good size but not supermassive. I ended up at Lidle and got a whopping turkey crown £7.99, so was the Asda turkey price gouging or is that normal?

There store brand food tastes of ****. I almost threw up when i tried their Soya milk, Tescos Soya milk is way suprior. Just one of many examples

I've been in a Sainsburys on Christmas eve, where people were literally figthing for stuff. I personally was physically pushed out of the way by some woman who couldn't be bothered to ask me to move and just shoved me from behind.

Never, EVER again.

This year i did all our shopping at 7am on Friday the 17th. We were one of about 10 people in the supermarket in morrisons at the time, and the only people queing at the check outs. Was brilliant.

I've been shopping once this week, to buy some more alcohol / fizzy drinks and to buy some last minute short dated stuff (crossaints + stuff for boxing day breakfast) and that was a ligthing raid in / out job early in the morning also.
