I see the problem, look at your fan speed it looks like it never breaks 57%.
I don't even think ccc has a fan profile thing where you can specify temps to ramp the fan up. I know it has manual control though =/
You can set it in MSI Afterburner, just hit settings> Fan tab
Also the poorly designed backplating is what's making the vapor chamber not cool to it's full potential.![]()
Well it seems that turning up power control settings a few % in the overdrive panel sorted out the downclocking. Still can't say im thrilled about load temps. When i went quad sli temps of the original card increased a few degrees, not sure if crossfire is viable when 1 well ventilated card hits 90c.
Anybody know if MSI Afterburner will support the changing of voltages with these new cards any time soon? I'm keen to get overclocking mine once I get a waterblock for it?
Cheers
Tom
Just cancel the order, no point waiting for it to be dispatched (and causing ocuk more hassle). Seems strange that you should order a 6950 when you want CUDA, but hey ho, if that's what you want, change it.Hmm... I bought one of these yesterday... (6950)
And am regretting it a lot. I'm waiting for OCUK to dispatch it... maybe I should webnote them and ask to swap it for the 570...
No CUDA is putting me off...
No, that is not the norm. Check out the reviews (links on first page of this thread), temps shouldn't be that high unless your ambient is high.Is this the norm? I really hope not.
