Wasn't at home when BC2 and Wings of Prey were on originally so I'm pretty happy to have caught these repeats.

Well obviously its not if they've done it today as well.

People have entitlement complexes!

All it shows is that they don't have as many deals as last year. A real shame given that this is their biggest sale of the year.

I tired it around a friends for a while, and thought it was okay... I basically got past the start and got really bored of it.

But then I normally love games like KOTOR, Batman, Mass Effect. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a shot?

yup Batmans been d/l all day and its only at 25% at about 151 kb! grrr

as for today.. bad company 2.. worth it?

also will buy F.e.a.r 1&2. cheaper than buying the pack buying them seperately.. me personally not caring about DLC atm

BC2 Is definitely worth it for the multiplayer! Shame I bought it in the summer for 29.99.

The download speeds are peeing me off. I downloaded Burnout paradise ultimate box from EA within 2 hours.

Flatout Ultimate challenge took 4 hours and 30 mins and its a smaller game...

TF2 stuck at 95% going at 200bytes per a second.

Batman at 4% and it fluctuates between 360kb/s and 3kb/s

I am not even going to attempt downloading the Witcher until the sale is over.

...To me this years STEAM sale is an epic fail. It's just a re-hash of last years Steam sale. Nothing stands out this year and all the good games recently released don't get reduced anyway .....

Well worth trekking through that steamgamesales.com link that's been posted a few times on days like this.... quite a few games I've picked up for a couple of quid like:

Evil Genius
Top Gun
Serious Sam HD
Cricket Revolution
Sniper Elite
Commandos Pack
Port Royale 2

Or in other words there's a lot of games with big discounts (65%+) that aren't actually listed on the main Christmas deals store page. OK so if you want AAA titles or the latest releases then maybe not worth the effort, but if like me you like playing older games it is worth checking out.

Bit dissapointed they're repeating already, as, bar the Witcher, Fear and perhaps Bad Company, most of these packs aren't really good enough 'value' to be worth repeating already.

Not that I disagree with a 'Greatest Of' day, as sometimes you missed something epic...but Tomb Raider: GoL for example...repeating? Oooook.

Picked up MW2, Meatboy and Lara Croft today. Don't care if they are repeats, missed them before and wanted them (especially MW2)

Fear 1 is a 17GB download
And fear 2 is about 15GB download

You get all the fear 1 addons for free when you buy fear

I bought it when it first was on a 1day deal a few days ago. Played it for a few hours and was very impressed. Don't know that I will get round to completing it, but at that price so long as it provides a couple of nights entertainment I will consider it good value.
In my brief play I have already got laid, won a drinking contest and got I a barfight- I like it!
