why would i misslead anyone?

the mobo is ddr2 am2+/am3

and the cpu can be used with either am2+ or am3 as i have a phenom and wnt from an am2+ to am3 mobo myself and you have ddr2 ram which is compatible

the cheaper 630 CPU is enough, it destroys the phenom555 in that anandtech link.

I would go for that CPU because nothing he does now requires beefy single core performance, but in a couple of years time the extra cores will be handy.

also from that chart the mobo should support 125w cpu's so i dont realy think it matters which athlon you go for
