yep all seems stable now, everyone explored out a bit and has settled down (with one or two exploring but nothing like 10 + people going different directions)
 
I have now moved the spawn to the new site but I have not placed it where you wanted it vincent1989 as the room is to small it needs to be 4x the size as when you die you don't always spawn at the same block, so players could get trapped.

I have given the opl spawn a warp point named 'oldspawn'

Can you see if you can still build around the new spawn I have added a command that should have removed the auto protect you get around spawns.

fluffymushroom's building in the sky don't worry about it just get on with your buildings lets see what it looks like when its finshed before you start to ask for it to be moved.

Server rule number 6. reads 'No sky bridges less then 4 blocks wide & don't have supports to the ground to keep them up (mavity defying), they must be well lit to stop mods from spawing on then'
Says nothing about buildings in the sky, please remember this is a free build server what one player likes some other players may hate.
As has already been said I can always move it.

so are we allowed to build anywhere outside of those big walls at spawn? im not really sure what is 'allowed'.

i hope spawn will remain the hub? i'd like to build my house somewhere than i can eventually link to the station there.

Running out of stuff to do at spawn, gober and I finished up the landscaping so just waiting on the master plan :p

I'm in a few minecraft clans on their forum, but it seems like all the servers are collapsing.

An armoury selling bows an arrows atm, latter will sell armours and swords etc.

i'll see what i can do, there is a spare plot next to the material shop atm so it could be easily used all or in part for a armourers shop.


hegemon (sorry goberpiles! :p); what is this master plan you speak of, i just go with the flow.


i'm going to work on some ideas for buildings tonight before bed which will mean im not going to be online, however as the server is so full up it wouldn't be fair for me to deprive someone else of a slot when i've got nothing really to do on there for the time being anyway.

i'm free from about 6pm tomorrow until friday morning so i'll be sure to crank the rest of spawn out with some help.


until then the walls could do with being built up to around 10 blocks high and we'll need plenty of cobble (smooth stone) for buildings so if you feel like setting up a strip mine outside the walls a little way and stockpiling cobble then be my guest.

Master plan first ive heard of it!

Think he means we have done all the assigned tasks to finish inside and outside the walls.

I am off to Wales tomorrow for a few days so not sure how much I can do in a spawn with los of other players on my laptop, but will be working on my house.

I will do some work on the walls tonight, and set an out of spawn mine up just watching the royal family xmas special.

Donate & get a reserved server slot

I have been getting a few mails in trust about players wanting to send me funds.

See first post of this thread for more details.

On the 04/01/11 I will up the servers slots to 20 or 24 as thats when the new payment starts.
