at what level did you guys feel you could stop telling your b spec driver when to speed up / slow down / overtake?
oh and btw i still cant find where the options are for anti skid / abs etc.halp
what is the highest level car in game? 40?

Skid Recovery Force and TC-5 and maybe ASM - was a while ago
some things really do annoy me about GT5...for example my Lex LFA sounded gorgeous with a few mods - i then applied stage3 engine tuning and it sounds s***. And engine tunung is irreversible so i have no option to buy another LFA just cos i cant remove the mod. Fuming!!!. ( i also found the titanium exhaust makes every car sound s***)
On a side note i have a backed up game save where my Lex LFA was without the stage3 mod. Can i load that up, gift it to someone, then gift it back to myself on my latest gamesave?

Which RX7 did you use?? My 90 one from the first event i cant get light enough so its time for a new one...
RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02
Tbh, could do it in the Bathurst too, just I had that one already fully engine modded.
Built the Spirit up from scratch just for that race so could keep my setup on other for supercar events

I managed to get to second and 10 seconds behind with my fully tuned one of that.
How did you manage it?!? I hate the bloody thing, wants to tail out all the time.
Also I can't do the Focus ST one either, just understeers into everything.
Done the mini one tho, anybody got any tips/setups for the ST/RX7 Seasonal events?

I do. Cheat. Turn Skid Recovery Force on.
Fixes everything! (though the RX7 can be improved with the aero mods, giving it grip)

I quit game that one, can get to 3rd then get bored on lap 2, put the fully adjustable gear box and pull the ratios down to a top of about 135/130 mph...
Dont know how to finish it yet though

I posted a youtube video a page or two ago with the settings at the end. I mostly followed those, but dropped the top speed to 130mph. I took the lead on lap 4 by driving nice and cleanly

Setup I used:
Body/Chassis: all weight reductions + rigidity improvement and all aero parts.
Engine: Sports ECU + Stage 1 tune.
Intake System: Sports intake manifold + Racing air filter.
Exhaust: Sports manifold + Sports cat.
Turbo: Stage 1 turbocharger.
Transmission: Fully customised.
Drivetrain: Twin clutch, Semi racing flywheel + Carbon propshaft. (I did buy the LSD too but didn't alter anything afterwards)
Suspension: Standard.
393bhp + 1051kg
Settings:
Transmission: 168mph (you won't reach max but I found this gearing best for me).
Brakes: 8 Front / 7 Rear
Aero: 22 Rear
Traction Control: 2
ABS: 5
Skid force control: On
Unless you know what your doing with the suspension settings I think it's near on impossible todo this one without skid force control on, which is annoying.

Wow, B Spec dream car championship is a doddle, my guy is lapping them on the 3rd lap of 14 on Monza in the wet. What the AI is doing i have no idea.
About time i say, let the PS3 AI drivers act like morons for a change and not my B Spec drivers.

For some reason the turning ratio on the car keeps going awful tight, like one race I did the other day in the buggati it was fine turned greatly, then next race I did a few days later going round corners was disgusting it barely turns. Not sure whats going on.
