Just had a 2 hour blast on this and its pretty good - as most have said, very similar to God Of War.
Hack and slash, rinse, repeat.
I say buy it, worth the £5.
It started like that but a little further in the game it turns into a sort of puzzle dungeon game. Like Zelda you gain new items to solve puzzles
I was kinda bored of the combat but the puzzle elements in the dungeon are bloody great,
This is a quality game and a Genre that the PC never sees
Is the game hard?
For a first play through what difficulty setting you think is a good balance of fun + challenge?
Normal at a push as some of the later fights get amazingly unforgiving. Theres a few sections where you get mobs which are immune to being damaged until they "phase in" and immediately do a very heavy hitting unblockable attack which you must get out of the way of, or you lose nearly 1 and 1/2 health bars, and thats on easy lol. You get 2/3 of these at once with other enemies as well very late in the game which complicate things massively.
I've died a daft amount of times against some of the bigger enemies on this due to not being nimble enough with the controls to get out of the way instantly lol.

This game and a 360 controller, is pretty much perfection.
Best buy during steam sales so far !
Excellent game, very much worth the money. Any fans of Zelda won't be disappointed, there's also some fun with Portal too!
I'm loving the game, it usually takes me all my time to finish a game & I'm on my 2nd play through of Darksiders, the games even better on the 2nd play as I'd finally got the idea of what I was doing by the end of the 1st time round.
Looking forward to the follow up coming out as I'm assuming there will be one after how this one ends.
It was a daily sale. It's showing the price as 13.39 on steam? :S
