Current 7200rpm king?

Howdy

Steam is nearly outgrowing the 500GB drive I have it on, so I'm looking for a new >=600GB setup. Current thoughts are two or three 320GB F4s in raid0, 640GB for ~£62 or 960GB for ~£93. this is purely for games, OS is already on an SSD, and other data on my media server. Can anyone think of a >600GB setup for <£100 that beats this one?

I would put a couple of Samsung F3 1Tb HDDs in raid 0.

samsung spinpoint f3s are faster i believe and cheeper id get some of them
500gb drives are better because it uses one platter not 2 1tb ones have 2 platters. but hounestly. not noticed a difference in performance.

Samsung F3, 1TB, £40.

Two of them would work great, giving you two 1Tb disks.

Use one disk for windows and programs/media, the other disk for games etc

Already have an SSD and a media server, I only need space for my ~500gb Steam folder. If I were to get two 1TB drives, I'd raid0 them and short stroke them to 500gb a pop
