Missing Bristol woman confirmed murdered

Anyone else getting the idea that the landlord is the patsy and the real culprit knew this guy would get pulled straight away?

What if it was one of his students from years ago?

What are you guys basing these opinions on, you have no idea what happened or what evidence the police had, plus it looks like he lied.

Next question will be if the Chrysler of Jeffries was spotted on the Suspension bridge at a suitable time

Maybe they were trying to find a story that isn't there.... yet. Just cos he's been caught doing this strangling doesn't mean he hasn't done anything else. I mean, he lived in the same block of flats, he MUST have known he was going be investigated, but this didn't stop him.

Have I missed him being charged and then convicted of her murder? All I saw on the news was that he'd been arrested on the suspicion of her murder.

Was at the pub with two coppers the other day and the first thing they said was that it's either the boyfriend or landlord. She left her mobile and keys in the flat which means she was killed inside it, as she would never leave the apartment without her keys at least, and likely not her mobile (and also her coat). Therefore she was killed in the apartment and it must have been someone she knew and trusted.

Tragic.
Exactly. It was an absolutely ****ing cold day on the 17th, there's no way she'd have left without her coat.

Wasn't her boyfriend at his parents and then came home to report her missing, so unless he took a little trip out to kill her then go back home.

Creepy looking landlord looking for a bit of something while the boyfriend is away.

I find it strange that the Boyfriend didn't speak/text Her for at least Two days  Surely if he was living with her he would send her at least one text message.

I visit that Waitrose quite a lot as I support an office at Embassy House near the triangle (local residents will know).

It's very strange feeling.

Really wish we find out everything about this case.

This is the location where she was found dead. :(

I love how some people are actually basing most of their judgement on what he LOOKS LIKE.... Christ on a bike, they have him guilty because of his eccentric appearance

Not everyone that's arrested (or for that matter is the accused in court) is guilty of a crime but I don't envy being in the landlord's shoes because, if he didn't do it, people will still be wary of him due to him "looking dodgy" and that people are foolish to believe the "no smoke without fire" pish

The guy's life will be ruined regardless as dumb people will still hold prejudices....

He's still not been charged and the police have been given another 12 hours to question him. How long can they keep him without charge?
