Loving this game so far!
Does anyone know how you can get hold of an Integra Type R DC2? There is a DC5 for sale at the Honda dealer, but no DC2. Not seen one in the used dealership either.
Wait for it to show in the used cars, or hope someone who finds one will buy it and gift it to you.
Was waiting for a Celica GT-Four ST205 for absolutely ages and could not find it in the used car section. Mate gets GT5 for Christmas and it's amongst the first cars in there for him.

Is this a game you can just play. Or do you have to do all the licenses etc. Sometimes all I want is a game where I can race cars on a track. I dont always want to spend hours upon hours doing licenses etc ?

I posted a setup ages ago as a youtube video, it should be in the thread if you search for focus by griffo_001 or something. Try turning skid recovery force on, its a magic understeer killing cure all aid.
Yer google "gt5 focus st race" and it's the video there. At the end he zooms in and shows his setup.
I didn't bother getting adjustable suspension and easily got 2nd and was right up behind 1st but then stuff it on the last lap

There you go. Skip to 9mins. I used that setup and caught the Focus RS just before the start of lap 5. Was pretty easy in the end. Just requires steady, patient driving.

I found that adjustable suspension was essential. Lowering the front end helped with the traction and initial power.

B Spec Nascar not worth the bloody effort. Level 28 driver cant win Level 21 event !!
Struggled first time i started the game, didnt do the nascar challenges until i got to Level 20 2nd time round, did all the nascar challenges very easily. Some people like to leave their controlling thumb off the stick now and again, big no no for nascar, always maintain contact with the stick, take your thumb away and then touch the stick again will cause too much movement in the stick. At least, that appeared to be what i was doing wrong

Have you dissabled all assists ? Shouldnt be that difficult to gold then. Ive however only silvered the Intermediate challeneged. I Might have to use manaul gears to gold em .
the B-Spec nascar event wasnt so bad. Level 21 driver was easy to gold the championship even though grand valley was a complete wash out (tires wore out to fast). Final track daytona was odd as my drive could go from 12th to 1st in one lap, then fall right to the back in another. came out 3rd in the end, and won the championship with a fair few points ahead of the others.

Especially for B-spec: Slam the car to the floor, put all the aero up to the max, put the brake balance to F1 R0 and in A spec turn off the ABS, you'll win by miles, my level 15 driver did, but I seem to have gotten lucky with him
The intermediate ones are much easier with the wheel, I managed it with the aids (before I knew about the ABS trick) and on automatic with a wheel
the only event i found to be a complete joke was/is th historic world cup championship event, level 16 I think, cars from 1979 or earlier.
All the cars you are put up against are 850+bhp and leave you trailing, the only car I could even come close to winning this with was the Toyota 7, after many (probably hours) of trying different setups.

In B-Spec, Ive golded first event in the jag xj13, but only silver in the second. Takes ages for driver to take over anyone, and ai in 1st was wizzing round. when i finaly caught up, we were almist half a lap ahead of the pack !, but my driver refused to take over to win :/. Fully tunned toyota7 and shelby cobra, my driver just doesnt want to know at all and often crashes into the barrier on last corner
