i think im going for the ASUS P8P67 Pro ,its on sale now for £135 inc vat in certain places - all i want is an entery level with sli (hoping the 2500k isnt going to break the bank :D )

come on ocuk give us some prices ;)

They can't give us prices, NDA.

But its estimated the i5 2500k will be 170, with the cheapest motherboards being about 100.
 
Some Motherboards are already released here in Switzerland but the CPU's are not.

Can not compare prices to Uk as the exchange rate is completely screwed just now. Used to be £1 = 2.4CHF but now =1.5CHF.

I will be getting the P8P67 Deluxe, which I can tell you is around £20 more than the EVO version here. Price is 238ish CHF for the Deluxe which depending on exchange rate is 100 quid up to 160 GBP. My biggest problem is the lack of DDR3 memory in stock, I need to decide what to get and order it first as there my be an even bigger shortage soon.

Ah ok I was just trying to get ideas about air cooling as i noticed you were getting 4.8.

So have you tried for more than 4.8 as your not on air? i thought you'd be able to get 5 on liquid?

oh whats the max multiplier the 2500k has?
