Tanks, well, pretty much no change there, even the wrath tanks that pulled half an instance mostly knew their limits, and should realis on their very 1st cata hc pull that this has changed.

Healers, other than having tom completely re-learn their healing strategies, no change (andmitedly, re-learning you class is a pretty big change though..)

DPS - now have to learn what cc is, learn what raid markers are, learn that aoe is not always king, learn to use stuns/silences/interrupts on cooldown, can't stand in the fire any more - Yes, this should be fairly easy, but sooo many dps are still using all their bad habits from wrath.

Healing is really harsh to get into now, healers can go oom very quickly, and then have the dps on their back moaning that they ain't good healers. To be honest, the worst dps I've seen are the ones that don't know what CC is or just stand around during most of the fights when they are needed.

Also I've seen some atrocious lack of dps in hc dungeons (players barely hitting above 4k), it makes taking down Cindy without any tactics for phase 2 look easy in comparison, which reminds me, maybe I'll go back and get my bane title.

Whilst I agree that healing is harder than before, out of the god knows how many heroics I have run, there's a trend in healers who complain about mana regen and have half of their gear missing spirit and/or has less spirit than my level 80. What do they expect? :p

Let's not talk about those who have zero enchants and/or gems.

Thing is blizz created the problem by not only making it too easy as we can all agree that was a problem, but by making ALL classes so similar and AoE spam reliant.

Gone was the need for a player to learn a role, do certain things, fight a certain way to do good dps no instead you just mashed 1 button over and over and over except on some bosses.

Case in point is Rogues aoe?! Moronic.

Hopefully the culling of the talent trees will be in future followed by the culling of the mass of abilities everyone has and making each class seperate like they used to be rather than everyone being AoE monsters. Its especially pointless if blizz wants to move away from AoE and start up with CC again.

Kind of what i was getting at; Healers have had no choice but to re-learn their class or get accused very very fast of being bad, and even when that happens you wont be able to defend youselves because the dps are ALWAYS right :rolleyes:

I play a tank myself and i'm sick of seeing myself performing over 10 times the interrupts of all other classes, and that doesn't include fear/stun interrupts, of which i have a fair few as a warrior. This expansion is very unforgiving when it comes to avoiding damage, and i must admit, i love it :D
 
Got to love pvp servers when ganking goes bad :D

Was in Ring of Blood quest in Nagrand with another level 60 and someone came along for a boost with an 84 ally and splatted us straight away.

Called on the re-roll guild and just as they were on the last boss two of our guys turned up and killed the pala (the 84) while I killed the guy getting the boost :D

It was only revenge but it was oh so sweet :p
 
I've done quite a lot healing now and healing is easy with good group and hard with bad group. With good group you never run out of mana, you dont even need to drink at all (thats doing heroics), with bad group even 1 pack of trash can drain all your mana. The raid I've done so far Bastion of Twilight 3/4, Blackwing Descent 3/6 my mana was ok, no problems what's so ever on resto shaman.
 
Logged on to find my account has been hacked.

All my items gear everything is gone, even my alts and banks are empty.

Then the ******* got my characters stuck in a loop fall through the world.

I'm so ****ing ****ed right now, all my stuff gone!
 
Hi all,

Enjoying wow so far i have to say im trying to get 2 levels a night or more.

Q:

As i have WoW (no expantions) on disk which i have from a previous account with wow. I cant remember my details at all from my old account so i take it i can't use the key for my new account?

Open a ticket, you will get your stuff back pretty sharpish.

GET AN AUTHENTICATOR!!!

Best advice I can give hence the caps, I was hacked a couple of times until I got one and not one problem since :)
 
I have an authenticator. That little bit of hassle logging in will save a lot of hassle if anything was to go pear shaped. Having four level 80's and above i'd be pretty gutted to be wiped out!

Just annoying that blizzard went all battle.net and you use your email to login now. I hate that! Now it puts your own email account in jeopardy!
 
done a few of the 5 man's . wow what a refreshing change to have to think what yer doing instead of facerolling through it . Think i died about 7 times doing the underground one but was fun (tank kept blaming me but i was no where near the extra stuff that was getting pulled )

And re getting hacked... you will have been phished or have a trojan/keylogger . Blizzard will replace all yer stuff np (may even end up with more ) but need to run a check on yer system and change all yer passwords on a clean machine .

Not to mention, I have a frost DK and have done some experimentation. On a single target when my rime procs I get a free icy touch or howling blast. One is an aoe, you can guess which blizzard has choosen to do more damage against a single target, yep that's right the aoe howling blast.

Kind of strange considering my 2 aoe's thrash and swipe do so little damage compared to my single target attacks.
 
Got my warlock to 85 and have done a few heroics and have an ilevel of around 339 at the moment. Enjoying affliction spec mostly due to the playstyle but its really crap for some encounters as the damage isn't quick enough for fights where you need to kill adds quickly, like admiral ripsnarl etc.

Noticing that every item I get, vastly increases me spellpower :S Sat on 6100 self buffed at the moment and can see that rising by a lot by the time I get full 346 gear. Thinking of leveling a healer when I get chance. I've started a tauren paladin and thats lv 46 at the moment and alright to play, although ret is very boring lol.

Go the Blackberry one, turns out it doesnt work on the 9700 Bold. :/

Every time I look online it's always Sold out, such rubbish!

Not that strange really...the AOE attack is capable of hitting multiple targets so it does less damage on single, it's the same for most classes but there are a few exceptions.

Same with Warriors with Cleave & Whirlwind.
