The people saying ditch her and take the job probably don't have girlfriends to do that to.
That is because we have seen how easily women come and go. Careers do not easily come.
It could also be said that the girl of your dreams does not easily come.
err no I didn't mean it like that
*this is in no way saying the ops missus is the girl of his dreams

For some, a job comes and goes easily yet the person you spend your life with is a tad more special.
The OP has been offered the sort of job your average 17 year old is normally offered - it's a minimum wage apprenticeship not a seat at the board of an FTSE100 company.
It really isnt as simple as just 'dump the girl LOLOLOL they come and go'.

the girl i wouldnt say is the girl of my dreams
while i appreciate what your saying how else do you think im gonna get the chance to do these things, work on race cars etc....if they were around the corner i wouldnt have any second thoughts.
Who realistically would take me on at my age to do this type of stuff without previous garage experience(ignoring personal experience)
money isnt everything in life and i dont want to work in a call centre forever and being honest thats all my CV will ever get me around here
All I have to say is that if you leave your girlfriend just for another job, then that is pretty damn crappy and selfish. :/
