OcUK Hairdressers Unite!

I have the same colour carpet on my floor at home.

Ive actually a nicked a patch:p

Its work in progress at the mo, im just making up some ally to give the carpet tunnel some shape, its just laid over at the mo, ive done the heater panel today, which looks better than the stock one, but the flash seems to make it look stupidly bright, and it isnt in reality!

I like to pretend it still looks like this. Sadly, it doesn't really. I'm saving up to race them so the road car has just had to get by after it's accident. I think I'm likely to buy a nice minter come next winter and convert this one into a rough + ready track car or sell it.

Didn't know you were in an accident. What happened? :(

Over a year ago now. Still breaks my heart to see that photo. I bought the cheapest replacement panels I could find, because I had a 60 mile commute to work every day so I just needed it back on the road. It's about 3 different shades of red now, and peeling paint at the front.

Short term, it sucks, but I've just got to be smart; spending £1500+ getting it resprayed when I could (and will!) buy another whole one in better nick for the same money. I'll be buying another one at some point, for sure.

:D

Needs a good clean after the winter though (that was taken last summer)

Why do you have the hood up? Townie scum!

The beauty of the hood is I can put it down whenever I want. Even when its icy which means the rear window has been destroyed. Hard tops have to be lifted, stored and are just a bit pointless. Having the roof down in winter is a great feeling.

Then again, I see most drop-top owners don't even have the roof down on the best of best days, makes me sad. Hard tops are just a waste of time IMO. I'd only have one now as my car has to be stored on my parents driveway and the roof isn't fully water tight (drips in on the seals despite filling them with foam and re-sealing and the roof has shrunk a lot making this worse. Getting a replacement ASAP).

I only got one because I don't want to invest in a new vinyl roof for the car. I don't know how long I'm keeping it, and the hardtop will maintain it's value unlike a new soft roof would. My roof was 20+ years old, and was past repair sadly. Fine for summer, not so fine for winter (heavy, persistant rain etc)

Thats not a bad idea actually. Then again, I wouldn't like not being able to spontaneously (sp?) put the roof down.

Hello, I still cut hair! Coming up to 4 years ownership now and used daily. Please excuse the dirt!

I don't like the wheels and that exhaust looks silly protruding like that.
