Missing Bristol woman confirmed murdered

It is surprising to hear that she was not sexually assaulted (although they haven't completely ruled it out) as it makes the killing seem even more amibgious.

Whether it's really Police bumbling if you believe The Daily Mail, or just being extremely unlucky... it's a real shame that the bins were emptied and that the neighbors CCTV evidence was deleted. I'm sure that footage may have cracked the case wide open.

Maybe someone had broken into her home right before she got there and she surprised him/her, ended up getting strangled by a panicked burglar and then later dumped.

Why was the neighbours CCTV footage deleted?

Edit: apparently they now have some CCTV footage of what seems to be two people following her home. Hope it is and that it gives them some more clues!

Well that would tie in with what the landlord said, he said he saw her leaving her flat with two people...

Its all very sad but the news coverage is pathetic. So far the police have confirmed:

1. They cannot rule out that there may have been more than one killer
2. There is no evidence of sexual assualt - but the cannot rule that out as the motive for the killing
3. She was missing a sock.

The cops can't rule anything out whatsoever because they don't know who done it - ridiculous statements of what they cannot rule out helps no one and nothing. Quite why the bang on about sexual assault is a mystery - if there's no evidence of it then what does it matter at this stage what the motive might have been when they clearly have no obvious person with an obvious motive.

Finding the killer is a good thing, wild specualtion and inflamatory remarks by the cops about motive and raising sexual assault doesn't advance that cause.

TBH today's pathetic police force couldn't detect their way to the white stuff in an oreo. If everything isn't handed to them on a plate then they're dead in the water most of the time.

My opinion, of course.

Well they haven't got a crystal ball, then can only go on what they can find, which on the looks of things isn't a lot. They have national pressure to catch the murderer/s, but when they are left in a situation like this there isn't a lot more they can do other than appeal to the public.

Humm, nothing for me to go on.

I was inside Pizza Provencale from 8pm until at least 9pm - but more likely longer than that. I feel like I ought to be able to help having been so close to the last place she was spotted :(

Obviously you'd do a far better job.

Well no, since he's not employed as a policeman. Or do you only ever criticise things that you could definitely do better yourself? Better stop criticising Vauxhall then ;).
