Anyway I expect they will arrange collection and that'll be the end of it. It isn't a cheap laptop after all.

It wouldn't have mattered because the Laptop they want to charge me for is the one I was actually invoiced for and paid to begin with.
They have no record of the other one, only because I told them did they realise I had two.
Crazy way to operate a business in my opinion. Never again.


Sadly, this is a shining example of why its often better for everyone involved to actually do ths slightly dishonest thing, and keep the laptop.
Dell clearly dont know about it, dont care about it, and dont care about you as a customer. And you've caused yourself a tonne of hassle you could have done without, over someone else's mistake.

Since they invoiced you a 2nd time for the laptop you paid for already do you think dell's accounts people would have noticed the double payment and notified you and issued a refund?
I think not!
Probably not, but then I have integrity, they obviously do not.
Needless to say Dell are not my favourite people at the moment.
