Alright folks, recently Ive had a couple of situations that wound me up about my cackhanded condition..

Ive now got a role at work which involves filling out paperwork in Ring binders. These buggers are a nightmare for writing on as the rings cause an obstruction.

Other situation was filling out Christmas cards. I got a nice card for my Gf, then ruined it by using a quite inky pen which proceeded to smudge from my hand :(

Anyone got any similar things that annoy them in this Right handed world! :D

Yep, cheque book stubs get in the way!

Using scissors is a nightmare...

In resturants the glasses are always on the right, which is often difficult as I frequently attempt to drink from the person's glass to my left.

They never have left handed putters at the crazy golf in Hastings either!

:)

Do you not just write with the paper/card at some ridiculously obscure angle like my mrs cause she's cack handed too.

Isn't there a study which shows that in the IT industry almost 50% of its people are left handers?
Are you saying that half the people in IT are gay?

There was also a study that said left handed people are more likely to suffer from being a schizo?
Also gingers are as well I think. I'm left handed and ginger!

It would appear so, your left handed and you work in I.T right?

Interesting.

They say that roughly 10% of people are lefties.

In my line of work, education, the number of left-handers is nearer 25% (in my experience).

No. I said it was interesting that left handers were being accuesed of having a propensity towards homosexuality.

I'm not going to follow tenuous links to suggest IT people like musicals :)

Yeah I try that but then my writing suffers. I was trying to write neat :D.

I can normally get away with the ink smudging thing after years of practice but some pens catch me out lol.

I learned as a kid to use right handed golf clubs and scissors. But writing, kicking, throwing etc remains left.

Its mad tbh.
For power I am right handed, for precision I am left.
Snooker / pool - left
writing - left
throwing - right
tennis - right

In one respect I could be similar. Im most comfortable punching things with my right. I whack them daft machines in bars sometimes when drunk and I always use my right arm. Never really been in a fight or anything but hitting boxing bags etc I always prefer my right.

To prevent smudged handwriting I rest my little finger on my credit card as I write across the page.

It stops the smudges. I can't hold the pen properly if my writing hand has no contact with the paper.

Done this for ages.

I do somethings right-handed too, such as cricket, using a knife and fork and crazy golf ('cos I have to!)
