Left Handed people in here!

Hadn't thought about my mouse.

I use my right hand for that...

I can do, but its slower than my left. The mouse is setup to be used by left or right handed people though, the buttons have not been swapped

Though I always thought left handed writers would have issues with drawing and writing because of their hand going over the paint/ink :L

surely right handed people have the same problem with drawing, as you dont just draw from left to right ;)

Power tools can be a pain too.

For example, my circular saw blows the sawdust into my face if I use it left-handed :(

Most semi-auto rifles eject the shell to the right*, smack into your face. :(
(I've never had this issue, but I imagine it would be most annoying).

For me:
Writing: Left
Throwing: Right
Scissors: Left
Eating: Fork in Left, Knife in Right
Kicking: Left
Punching: Right
Shooting (Quasar and those arcade games): Left
Mouse: Left (ambidextrous mouse obv), can use Right though (used to prefer to use Right when at work, so I wouldn't get used to having a crappy mouse in my Left hand).
Keyboard when gaming: WASD, I just move the keyboard to the right side of my desk so my right hand can get to WASD.

*From what I've seen in games.

I've heard they are opening a shop for people like you!

I'm left handed for almost everything except brushing my teeth, scissors and using a computer mouse. There was never any point getting used to a left handed mouse as they are so uncommon, I almost can't use a left-handed mouse now.

Haha! My left-handed mouse configuration confuses all inferior righties who try to use my computer.

Try as they might, they can't get their feeble little right-handed brains around it... brows all furrowed in a futile effort to work it out. Mwuhaha.

I'm left-eared and left-footed as well. Look in awe on my leftie-ness ye mighty and despair!

Do right handers in countries that have a language that writes right to left have the same problem as left handers writing left to right?

rofl lunatic on the loose! Cracking post :D

I'm a fellow cack-hander and do most things with my left hand/side but mouse, scissors, I use with my right. Just got used to it from school and young age tbh.

I can do other stuff with my right hand, but I have to write with my left. It is odd really, I bowl with my right, but can't with my left, I have always used a computer mouse with my right hand, but I eat with my left hand. Oh I brush my teeth with my left also.

Its mad tbh.
For power I am right handed, for precision I am left.
Snooker / pool - left
writing - left
throwing - right
tennis - right

Same, except I shoot pool (and just shoot) right-handed. That may be down to whether your left or right eye is dominant (it is for true shooting), which is loosely, but not completely, related to your dominant hand. I believe it is called something like "shared dominance": essentially the side of your brain most related to the activity concerned gets control, rather than one just dominating. The weirdest one with me is trying to draw with a mouse: I draw LH, but use a mouse RH, so as a result I can't draw with a mouse with either hand.

Like you Morba and for weight lifting I suppose it doesn't really matter (except my right bicep is slightly more defined.:D

I find scissors the biggest problem. I did buy some left handed scissors but they are just as difficult.:)

THIS! I just can't cut with scissors, It's like watching a mentally disabled monkey randomly stabbing a piece of paper with chopsticks, just isn't gonna cut it.

I'm completely right-handed but have to use left-handed fishing reels, for some bizarre reason I just cannot use a right-handed fishing reel or one that is set-up for right-hand use, even fly fishing reels where you don't really use the reel at all has to be set up for left-hand use or I can't wind in when I need to move, weird eh?

Do left handed people consider themselves abominations, or disabled, or is it just the same to you as having blue or brown eyes, blonde or brunette hair?
