So I went to look for a car this morning, here is the story behind my adventure down to a garage this morning. Both me and my father set off in separate cars – as he was also looking for a new car. This being said we thought we could strike up a deal by buying two cars and part x my Audi TT and his SLK
So we arrive at the garage, the car in question – Nissan 350z was not to be seen. I double checked the forecourt only to be told it had been taken for service and was not due for show until Monday. However I did spot another 350z that looked slightly different. It was a 350z Nismo edition with full spec, sat nav 20’’ wheels, nismo exhaust, xeons - fully loaded with everything however, it was tucked away in the corner no price, nothing. I was informed the car had just come in that morning for them to sell – he got on the phone got me a price based on his thoughs that the annual mileage was 47k – I was still happy
Took it for a test drive with my farther following in his chosen car off the forecourt - BMW 5 series.
Loved the car from the word go;
Settled on a price for both cars, looked at the service history etc, when I spotted a mistake the last MOT which I thought stated 80,000 miles was obviously wrong; closer inspecting it was 8,000 – we had just agreed a price.
What I saw on the trip during the test drive and the dealer saw was infact – 4,700 miles. Lucky we are both rubbish at maths
Boy was he gutted
Here is the car in question;
Oh here is the car my Dad just bought as well
