I haven't used one but the Driving Force GT gets excellent reviews, especially for the money. I imagine it's possible to get golds using automatic gears but you're making life much more difficult for yourself. On some of the challenges I found using MT vs AT was often worth a half second improvement.

Would be good if someone had a list of GT5 rare cars, like ones you see once in 1000 on the used car dealership... I never know whats rare and whats not so I dunno whether to buy cars lol

It's completely random. Just some cars are more sought after.

How have you spent all of your money? I just ticked over to level 24 with 8.5million with no grinding at all. Just bought my Touring Car and FGT for later :D

Is the Ford GT LM good enough for the Extreme American Race?

Try doing, Like the Wind first with the max'd out Zonda R which you win form a B-Spec event (GT World Championship) and then you win the Toyota Minota Race Car just makes the All Stars Race very easy :)

Thanks. I'd probably lose 2 seconds using At gears lol, just cant seem to change at the right time. guess it takes a fair bit of practise to get it right?

I was told to use the Mazda Furai concept car. I've seen videos of people completing it but the fact its a championship makes it so hard. One mistake and you have 12 cars flying past you :rolleyes: lol.
 
Use the Furai to win Like the wind, then the Minolta as mentioned above that you get for LTW for the GT All Stars, easy :)

Easy - bought a load of unnecessary cars ;). No point in playing GT5 is all you buy is cars for events - how dull would that be :confused:

unfortunately I am now getting to the tedious stage of GT5, all I seem to be doing is putting my b-spec in marathons then going to do something else, I am now getting the urge to actually play my PS3 rather than it sitting there ready to blow up from prolonged use.

So I could either start playing MP, try to get gold in everything (no way am I doing A-spec marathons, at least not till I give GT5 a few months break at least) or start playing a new game... what do you think? I am really hoping an update or patch comes out soon with some new content
