Pc gaming comes to consoles?

Think this thread shows a lot of whining kids trying to act Superior ... I am gonna be buying me this and owning your asses :) ..Come on OcUK get em in stock.

As to it not being the way the developer made the game utter rubbish, there hands are tied by the hardware, its not the same

Congrats on your unfair advantage against actual pad players, that'll make up for you sucking on PC games I imagine? :)

Personally, I prefer feeling like I wasn't cheating, but hey swings and roundabouts.

*I'm not even an online console player, so my 'QQing' is nothing to do with the apparent fact you're going to 'own my ass'

Uh BS? How about you stop making facts up to fit what you think.

UT3 had keyboard and mouse support on PS3. Nobody copied it for good reason.

why are so many trolling and saying people who choose to do this cant play on fps on normal pc . ill play with anyone on pc lol. ill beat 95 percent of you aswell :)

as to comparing to hacking get a life.

i dont hack have never hacked unlike quite a few on here ;) .

I play more games on the PC than consoles, as I bet do a lot of the posters disagreeing with this. Are we automatically branded as "console kiddies" for opposing this?

You'll find the issue most people have isn't about the choice they have to use it or not. It's that they don't have the option not to play against it.

i play things the way they are meant to be played i dont need a huge advantage to win at multiplayer games unlike you if your willing to shed out that much cash, hopefully MS will crack down on it and start banning people which will serve you right.

Like i said before its preference, you think its a "Cool" new feature i think its cheating and think that you cant play the game.

Ruins the point in console gaming IMO, i play a console because i like lying in bed and relaxing while playing not sitting with a mouse and keyboard.
 
Sort of kills the whole point of casual living room gaming if you have to have a desk in front of you. The reason these havnt caught on yet isnt because everyone has tried them and thought they just werent good enough, its because theres not enough people that actually want them (shouting 'i do so everyone else must' wont work either because if there was demand then thered be more than crap 3rd party addons involved so far).

As long as joypads are the default controller then devs etc will never pick this up as it creates a huge imbalance on the multiplayer side (as has been mentioned, and scoffed at by people who havnt actually thought about it). Would like to see how well this version does but I cant see it being much more than a (expensive) novelty that will wear off pretty quickly when the cracks begin to show.

You obviously did not think much before replying did you :rolleyes: Its cheating plain & simple try telling MS after they ban your console (if they can ever detect these) how it all comes down to preference :rolleyes:

tbh all that will happen is you will get a lot of cheating reports filed against you so your gamertag will eventually get zeroed anyway............
 
Meh, I want better native gamepad support on PC, rather than this :)

Would love to play Bad Company 2 with gamepad!

And no, I am not kidding. I love playing with gamepad :)

Yup but that works 2 ways, while I for have never seen anyone saying that everyone wants one ... bit of a liberty take there (as in outright lie), what I do see is all the 5 year old kiddies saying they don't want anyone to have one.

What I say is it down to preference if you want one get it, if you don't ....well don't ..but for god sake stop crying about it.

I'm sorry unless I missed it, and I have never looked, so could easily have MS as far as I know have not said its against there rules to use it, if it is then I would not bother getting one.

Just had a quick google, and while MS for the original Xbox forbade it they never blocked it on the 360 so it seems it is allowed.

Added, I did not think there were bots or cheats for the xbox, I really do not follow xbox gaming in any way as I'm rubbish with the pad.

So its not cheating plain & simple no matter how many times people wanna bleat about it.

Would you class someone using an arcade stick in an online fighting game, against someone with a 360 controller, cheating as well then ?

Or how about when the add move support to certain PS3 titles ? That'll allow for more precise aiming than 2 analogue sticks.

These kind of adaptors aren't going to go away, so it would be better for them to have a unique hardware id so games can detect when it's being used & disable auto-aiming.

I'm the exact opposite.

Coming from being used to a keyboard+mouse, the gamepad is far too imprecise / ridgid feeling that it annoys me after about 5-10mins use in certain games.

Not talking just about fps titles here. I hate it in 3rd person titles as well.

I'd love for Platinum Games to port Vanquish to the Pc, which will never happen I know, as playing it with a pad would annoy the hell out of me.
