Pc gaming comes to consoles?

If there was no problem with these peripherals they would be granted an MS License rather than having to hack a genuine controller.

Oh you can use a keyboard on the console all you want on singleplayer games. But you seem to think its fair to play online, especially FPS games, against people using a controller purely because your warped logic lets you think its ok since they should go buy 1 too. Pretty sure thats the same argument used by script kiddies, hackers and glitchers everywhere.

Not sure if this will take off as they will have to make all the single player FPS games harder for use with a keyboard and mouse...

Sure some console games are ok & have their place in gaming but PC pretty much owns all gaming nowadays its just not easy pickings as PC gamers are less likely to buy poor games whereas on the consoles many games are poor but they get accepted & sell well because what else do they exist for...............

I am a fairly good FPS player on the PC not great but good 7/10 I will be in top 3 if not top and I would still buy and use this.

This is nothing like hacking or cheating as everyone can buy these items to use, its comes down to a matter of preference.

I love the way some people on here try to act all superior and get into name calling when people don't follow their way of thinking, tell you what when you get Ur ass kicked by a Keyboard+ mouse player on the consul, either go out and buy one ..or even better quit playing ...I for one will buy this if it turns out to work well ...make no mistake .... then I'm gonna come hunt all Ur whining asses down

it's more because Microsoft did an experiment where they put amateur gamers using KB+M against expert gamers using a gamepad and found that the amateur gamers with the keyboard and mouse were better despite not being as experienced.

It's why there aren't any games which support xbox 360-PC cross platform multiplayer

The gap between using a mouse/kb and using a pad in online games will be so huge, it wont even be competitive.

Most people cannot be bothered with this sort of kit, they like consoles cos they fancy a blast 'online'.

If it takes off, it will kill online FPS console gaming for the majority.
Just the saddo's will be left, being all 'leet' with their mouse/kb setups.

It has nothing to do with that either, the reason they have not is because its to their advantage to make sure both platform develop, if all xbox were made with native mouse keyboard adapters it would certainly hurt there PC side of the business.

If there ever comes a time where financially it will be better for them to add it they will.

Why don't Sony do this then? I'm sure they'd love to take a share of the PC market.

Oh wait! They already tried with UT3, and it went horribly horribly wrong...

Shared lobbies ruin the game, and split lobbies end up spreading too thin. If the majority of console players don't want to sit behind a desk, why cater to the minority of your market?

it's not his way, it's the way the developer intended the game to be played. that should be quite clear as there is no m/kb support in the games.

I used to play Quake 3 against Dreamcast players on my pc.
It was good fun to win lots but not fun when a good console players would wipe the floor with me

this is one of the very reasons we pc gamers enjoy gaming on pc's and like our dedicated servers, so can ban the cheating scum for good and then we LOL

Youtube will show you that some pad players are very good.

Studies will show you that good pad players, will get beaten by average k+m players.
