Just got knocked out of the FA cup 5th round at home by Spurs :( . Was an awful game, just have the Europa Cup to play for and the League Title where I'm 19 points clear :D but will probably drop points due to injuries to one or two key players and my strikers who seem to have gone goal shy, Agbonlahor has been really on and off in form since he came back from injury and the teams missed his goal poaching.

Speaking of goals conceded, my teams record so far 78 scored and 19 conceded :D been leaking in goals recently though. Win ratio is 80% :cool:

Got promoted won the final 3-1, any suggestions on some signing for survival im in my 3rd season, will go look at free agents and transfer list aswell.

Not specific tactics, but I always put my best headers of the ball on the far post and near post/attack the near post. Switch ball placement between the two locations and I get a decent number of goals from corners :).
 
Havent played footy manager properly in a couple of years but decided to buy fm2011 yesterday but was busy so didnt get time to play the game hardly spent more time installing megapacks etc :p , played a couple of friendlies and the amount of options are crazy seeing as i am not used to all of them and i can see this will be hard work with the toon with a gimp owner and no money for transfers :o come back fat freddy :p , anyone got some good training schedules and tactics ??? without trailing through every page of this thread , guess it will be loan signing this season and even them seem to cost plenty of dosh .
 
Has anyone had a similar problem to me

In my home games during a match, everything is ok. When i click on my tactics i get the players current fitness during the game and I can make substitutions

When i play away, the same tactics screen gives me the teams fitness as it was before the game started and I can't make substitutions. I can move current players around, but I can't make any subs. At halftime during on the team talk screen I can make subs, but lets say I have an injury in the 60th minute, i'm left to restarting the game and hoping I don't get injuries in away games
 
I drew Real Madrid in the Champions Cup. I thought I got lucky in the first leg as they had 4 players suspended and 8 more injured. I got away with a very lucky 2-1 win and thought it would all run out when Cristiano Ronaldo and Higuain came back from suspension. What happened next was just magical :



Also, the following seasons bargain hunting. I'm very happy :D

 
Decided to play another year with Arsenal. Won everything. Charity Shield, Carling Cup, FA Cup, Club Championship, Premier League and Champions League.

Awesome! I bought Jack Rodwell in January and he was awesome! Signed Rafinha at start of season and he had a great season and will soon be taking over top-spot from Sagna.

Kieran Gibbs is challenging Clichy for starting place. Clichy performed slightly better.

Pato (who i signed for free on pre-contract) was my best player this season. Scoring nearly 30 goals and about 15 assists. Playing him AMR as an Inside Forward. Can't believe I got him for Free!

Dzeko was my main Striker notching up 25 goals. But with Lakuku and Sanogo progressing I might be tempted to sell Dzeko and get some new defenders as Barcelona want both Vermaelen and Djourou!! I had to sell Kadlec as my whole team hating him and Dzeko threatened to leave the club over it!

My Dream Team for this season was;

Afinkeez, Rafinha, Djourou, Vermaelen, Clichy, Rodwell, Fabregas, Pato, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko

I bought Pastore in January but he ruptered his Achilles in February so he hardly played any games :(

Congrats on the Champions League result sargatanas, that's truly excellent! I've just won the Champions League in 2018 with Ipswich and I thought that was an achievement... to win within 3 years with Rangers would be superb.

Thanks man but that wasnt the final, that was the last 8. Didn't advance any further, my injuries piled up and my squad is relatively small so my players were exhausted.

I put a 16 year old regen DC (Andy Parker) for my last 5 league games and the FA Cup Final and Champions League Semi Finals. He was awesome! Scored 2 goals.

Had no choice as Djourou / Vermaelen and Song were injured :(

Definitely one for the future. I really want to continue with Arsenal and try to develop the Youths into a Champions League winning side.

But I also want try a different club. Peter Hill Wood has offered me a 5 year contract extension on £115,000 a week. Decisions.

I thought it said "Semi" final on your screenshot... :o So you were on your way to the final. :o

That champions league cash must be a godsend in the scottish league though.
