Finally for Headed South done on Friday night, decided to do it the long way with 2 healers and 2 ranged DPS. Took about 12 mins to get him down, thank chuff I don't have to do it again though.

Now I just wish they would fix the damned drake so I'm not hovering between its front legs instead of sitting on its back.

Well I started with 2000g and decided I'm going to buy and sell embersilk. This was last Tuesday/Wednesday.

I now have 12500g, 1000g leg enchant, 200g weapon enchant and spent 2500g leveling a profession....

Man buying and selling is easy with the iPhone auctioneer app

Losing the love for this, can't be bothered to level another character and my mage's DPS just sucks too much for heroics, unless I'm getting carried by other classes.
At my max I'm getting about 7.4k compared to over 10k for other classes (Pally for instance).
Might change my OS to frost and try some PVP, as I remember reading that that's doing well in PVP atm

When ever I do HC with Mages they are always first or 2nd.

Obviously if its AOE heavy or the mage is lucky with crits, its fine, but they are defo broken.

It's very hit & miss as fire with regard to Pyroblast procs.

See the Mages in guild push anything from 12k to 20k depending on boss.

Maybe I'll respec to fire then. I went to Arcane because spamming AoE just gets you killed in Cata dungeons.
When I noticed my DPS sucked so bad I put a lot of effort into reading up on it and fire's only about 300dps more (according to maxdps.com).
Got a GS of 7055 and that about matches my DPS

When you are 85 and doing normal dungeons on lfg what are the main ones that come up?

so far got i grim batol, hall's of origination and lost city of the tol'vir are there any others?
this if for doing daily normal.

I think that's all you'll get. Vortex Pinnacle, Blackrock Caverns, Stonecore and Throne of the Tides are all below 84.

finished getting my holydin to 85...gearing him up now dps'ing hcs

just done 2 levels in 3 hours (80-82) on my hunter, loving him at the minute, things seem to die before my next CD has even kicked in ...dont mount hyjal and jumped straight to the last area ( cant remember what it is, the one with the tower in the middle) also have a 25 shadow priest that im leveling with my gf's new mage...and finally i have a 80 prot warr that hasnt been played for aagggges to level with the gf's 80 priest.

Because of work times i rarely get to raid i like aiming for weird achis, and now being able to do guild achis as well keeps me busy until i can get a few raid spots

Anyway. Spoke to trainer and learnt flight form. Presumably I can use this in outland now, just like I could if I bought a flying mount?

If I bought the thing (flight trainer) to fly in Kalimdor/EK does it work there?

Rotations and gear depend highly on your spec although for levelling theres not really much to it.

Yes, a flying mount that allows you to perform some actions without dismounting (shifting out) i.e. herbing and collecting most quest items

Yes

Instant cast yes, castable in combat no (that would be so insanely overpowered)

Would people say that buying WoW and all 3 expansions for £59.99 as just digital download is a good deal? I can't decide if I want to go through with it seemsing its going to take me ages to get to level 60 anyway.

Edit: Just found I can get them all in hard copy off Amazon for £47.95. I figure I might just wait.

Anyone else raiding and thinking, this content is just a little to easy again....

We are 11/12 normal.

Killed Al'Akir in 1.5 nights. Chogall in 1 night. Neferian is going down tonight in 10man or next week in 25man.

We are a 25man guild, with some good players and some noobs. And i'm sat thinking is this WOTLK all over again and is too easy?


RE: Mage DPS.

My GM is playing frost in raids and pulling 18k+ hes always top 3. Mage dps isn't broken, you just need to play it properly. And with Fire, we have a fire mage thats always 15k+
