Blimey what is everyone using to win the GT all stars events? My GTr 07 wth 700bhp is being well and truly creamed in these events. Took a look at the cars entered, 900bhp. Geez..!! These cars have some grunt, so I need to go shopping if I want to win that event..

Got a 2 mil balance at present. Prefer premium as I like the incar view.

@iv-tecman, I used the Minolta Toyota 88V-C I won from the Extreme Like The Wind race but to win that race also requires a very good car, I used a borrowed Toyota 7 for that race.

I won Like The Wind A spec with the ZR1 RM. Wasn't much of a challenge.

From there the Minolta wins the GT All Stars

That is not why I am thinking of doing it, I don't want to grind a lot with the same car, I want to have fun.
So if it will allow me to buy and drive more cars while grinding races to get to level 30 all the better.

lrn2 b-spec and lrn-2 enjoy the cars you've got. Even without having cheated I've got more cars than I've got time to drive them. Yesterday I managed to do the allstars in my sauber but haven't done it in my CLK-GTR yet. Need to do the DTM in my Alfa not to mention the stacks of JGTC cars that've yet to turn a wheel!

I know what you mean, but most cars are not interesting or do you still drive a Mazda 323F, Subaru 360 '58 at level 23 ?

Ultimately I need 20 million to buy a car for the Historic Racing cup trophy so spending 5 million for a FGT is annoying if it took me weeks to get to 9 million.

I'm still being infuriated by the stupid NASCAR special event, the one where you have to go round the outside without hitting the cones on the Superspeedway track, just makes me wanna rage.

Laughs - I found the outside relatively easy , but the inside I cant do for love (nor money) lol

No you don't need 20mil to buy a historic racing car, win the Toyota 7 from like the wind B-Spec or get the free xj-19 from the facebook thing.

I've been playing a lot of B-Spec whilst doing other stuff and got to LVL18 fairly quickly now. On going back to play A-Spec I've been very frustrated, I think not having played GT5 for two weeks and going back to the Fanatec wheel is a bit like learning to drive all the car again. Sadly the next few weeks are going to be too bust to play any GT5, and with a new house looming I fear she's going to be collecting dust and be played with a pad instead.
