I bought a computer on the 30th of december 2010 and the computer now has been getting blue screens and randomly shutting down when playing games.

I contacted technical support and they told me to run prime95 and some program beginning with "F" which tests the computers GPU or something. Both tests came out with no errors.

Now i just want to get a full refund, instead of getting it repaired as i can use the money more (for uni etc), isit possible to get a full refund from overclockers? If it is how do i do it? I still have all the boxes the computer came with, along with the padding it came with.

If i am eligble for a full refund, do they pick it up? If not how can i send it to them? I've never sent a package this big before.

THanks.

You bought a PC in December, and now a massive 11 days into January you have decided the money is better spent elsewhere? :/

Will be contacting them tomorrow, they're closed at the momment, just wanted to know if anyone had some past experience.

Thanks lethal, posted on that forum also.

I think the real motives are clear here. The 'issues' are less credible in my opinion.

Forget where you got it from & lets make this more general.

I believe that you are only entitled to a full refund if the shop cannot repair or replace said hardware. Saying you could do better things with the money is just cheeky in my opinion.

*Note*
I am not affiliated with the shop it's just my opinion.

Unlucky, guess some people are curious to why you got sacked. Anyways my friend purchased a GTX 460, RMA'd coz fan broke, same thing happened so he was eliagible for a refund covering the product but not the delivery. I am unsure in your case but GOOD LUCK!
