Maybe it's the width (205) thats a bit more uncommon, wouldn't 17's normally be wider than that?

I take it they are aftermarket wheels hence the funny size?

Premium Contacts were my first choice but arn't made in the size.

Not after market wheels, standard Zetec (+sport pack) wheels.

With my new job, the car isn't going to be doing more than 50 miles a week at stretch so wear isn't too important, think i'll go with the FK452's, big thanks to RSClio again.

Accelera and Nexen are also pretty well priced - are they any good?

Nexen are awful.
A friend bought them whilst in Norway as he needed some tyres and Norwegian prices are just lol-worthy.

As soon as he got back home (Germany), he swapped them straight away.
Lethal in the wet.

Falken and Kumho are as 'cheap' as you'd want to go to be honest.
