** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

Just started levelling my rogue again and quite enjoyed Hyjal, any rogue PvPers on here? How're you finding BGs/arena these days and what's your PvP spec?

I played last night, came off about 10pm. Got home from work today about 3pm. All my gold is gone from all my characters, all my gear is gone. I had 9 junk emails from fake blizzard people.

How is this even possible? I'm not a retard. I have an impossible to guess password, my computer is extremely secure. I DON'T GET THIS AND IT UPSETS ME OKAY.

My mind is boggled.
 
i can't believe how much there nerfing the heroics already, some are actually getting a buff but for the most part it's going to be back to aoe trash packs again although admittedly with mine and my guilds gear it already is.

Anyone got tips for Halfus heroic 25, went there last night but tanks were getting destroyed (3 tanks), DK tank taking 195k damage in less than 2 seconds and this includes a parry.

Same happened to me not too long ago, I had two friends who are PC r'tards who had my bnet account details so I just slapped a authenticator on it.

Maybe impossible to guess, but unless youve clicked on somethign blatant and typed yer pasword in then ya musta been phised/keylogged

I find it ridiculous tbh.
I joined the game during Wotlk and the dungeons and instances always felt as if they had elements missing. constantly AoEing everything everywhere got kinda tedious.

Along comes something that needs actual tactis/thought put into it...
pople whine, blizzard nerfs the dungeons to hell...

Now we managed to finish all the dungeons worked hard and got our gear sorted. other whining they can't beat HC's now get easymode and start AoEing evrything again no doubt.

Iunderstand if you pug and get the wrong grp with no CC then yer pretty much screwed but I see even the CCers gettin lazy if the dungeons are nerfed to this extent and the groups that DIO have CC wont use it and just faceroll everything again.

so what happens when these peopel that cant figure out a damn HC get to raid ready? They whine and moan until the raids are nerfed.

Wee were back to LK lets just faceroll everything :(

I was really enjoying the increased difficulty too

I'm not hardcore in any way with my Rogue PVP wise but I have to say its pretty good going atm, just avoiding Paladins like the plague (like always) Paladin burst damage in PVP is just insane.
 
Just logged on to find that the girlfriend has had her characters emptied of gold.

Fantastic.

I hope whoever did it gets their eye socket urinated in. That is all. :mad:
 
Happened to me just the other day aswell.

Havent clicked anything nasty or visited any dodgy sites, havent given out password or shared account and somehow someone was able to stroll in & take everything.

To be fair to Blizzard the GM had everything back the way it should have been in under an hour.

I'm really enjoying it at the mo I like how epics are moved into raids, heroics are a little challenging and more technical again. Would be disapointed with a change to the free loot piniadas that wrath heroics were.

Unfortunately we all know blizz has no backbone when it cones to whining and they will submit to lowest common denominator to keep them paying.

Personally I hope they resist the pressure as I really enjoy the game again, but will they? Doubt it. They are in a lose/lose situation in that they will upset the longer term players through dumbing down or the wrath generation by sticking to their guns. The second group is more likely to quit though so expect nerfs.

Annoying thing for myself is I HATE hardmodes. Gimmicky tosh to keep people playing the same fight over and over for longer and longer. TBC was the best model. Make fights their correct difficulty for those wanting a challenge (btw I'm not a raider anymore, well at least not hardcore server first standard) then after X timescale dumb it down to easymode (pref after release of next content tier) for the more casual/less skilled/less leet interested to do the fights and see the content. All are then happy.

Ho hum though :p I will keep playing regardless as the social side of the re-rollers is great :D

good result then! I wasnt sure if they gave gold back and thought it was only for items.

The authenticator is on android? I thought it was only on Iphone?

I have an authenticator already but also have android I must just be being silly as I could never find it unless I need to go to the wow site and get it from there?
 
I'll be really disappointed if the upcoming 4.0.6 makes a huge impact on HC difficulty. I've just managed to get geared for HCs and I was looking forward to the challenges, but it sucks that they're happy to dumb the whole thing down to make sure everyone can play - a good portion of any game is in the difficulty. The rerollers have cleared prettty much all the HC 5-mans already, so it can't be that hard - what with Indie pirouetting off in a corner to make his petticoat flow out and tanks randomly throwing their hands in the air and stomping off to a corner to sulk from time to time :p
