I recently bought this bundle:

OcUK Motherboard Bundle - Intel Core i5 2500K & Asus P8P67 Intel P67 Mainboard
OCZ Vertex 2 "25nm Edition" 50GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (OCZSSD2-2VTX50G)
OCZ Gold 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Low-Voltage Dual Channel (OCZ3G1333LV4GK)

I am having issues with the SSD. I set the RAM timings and voltages as recommended with the RAM. I set the SATA to AHCI. When installed Windows 7 x64 I get BSODs. I have run MemTest and that reports no issues. As a last test I put a normal SATA drive in and Windows installed fine on that.

So is RMA my only option now or is there anything else you guys can suggest? :(

Is drive still seen in bios?
Have your tried install win7 on a non SSD hard drive to eliminate the drive being the issue?
Does it blue screen after first loading screen from part one of install?
I had a issue with Vetex 2e 60gb on p67a-ud4 after the first windows installer reboot it BSODs, drives now stuck in panic mode and bios cant see it .. normal HD installed fine and stable

Is drive still seen in bios? - Yes

Have your tried install win7 on a non SSD hard drive to eliminate the drive being the issue? - See OP

Does it blue screen after first loading screen from part one of install? - Yes, it does it at random points

Plug in the SSD then boot other drives windows install , is the drive viewable / usable ?- then use ozc tool's to check if it has latest firmware.

Have you tried any other mobo bios versions?

Windows 7 certainly doesn't need specific drivers to install in AHCI mode. You can (and should) install specific chipset drivers once Windows is installed though.
