I'm curious because I went browsing for Elite 4 last night to see if there was any news, since I've been waiting for a propr Elite sequel for 25 years now. That's when I read that Frontier were apparently going to get Outsider dealt with before moving to Elite 4. And that's when I thought "Wish they'd bleeding hurry up, they seem to have been on Outsider for ages" and now of course I feel like I caused your project to be cancelled. Even though it's ludicrous to suggest there's any kind of superstition like that involved.
Anyway, I understand you can't really say anything about what I've said, because even if it's not what I said it was that'd just narrow it down.

Its blatantly The Outsider based on that little hint of Washington environments. Shame, it looked like it was going to be pretty nice..

Had a friend work at Traveller's Tales. How is it there?
Travellers Tales is the other studio we are their sister studio TT Fusion. Travellers Tales is apparently very hard work, very long hours, recorded hours no net access. TT Fusion is probably the best studio I worked for.
Hope it goes well for you down there and there isn't no more culling

I don't believe that for a minute.
I think it was cancelled for two reasons. Firstly it wouldn't be popular. Secondly it might be unpopular since games have a bad reputation.
If it's Frontier and mainly Washington enviros then it's likely to be "the outsider" for those interested.

Saying working for Frontier made it vague - "Washington envrios" is the give away considering the rest of the info is on the Frontier or Wikipedia sites.
Shame as it's supposed to be bringing some new innovative game elements to consoles (no PC version?). On the flip side if it means more resources could be focused on Elite 4 then I suppose it would be understandable given E4 will be a huge money spinner with guaranteed pre sales of ££££gabillions no matter what. On the flip side if Elite 4 is to be released and capitalize on the name Braben had with Elite it needs to be soon before the vast majority of the gaming market mutters "Elite... wassat then, some kind of old codgers game?"
