Poverty is alive and well in the UK. Millions of people struggle to stay just above the breadline while tens of thousands live below it or are homeless. You're living in a middle class bubble. "No ghettos"? There are hundreds all across the country where you won't go at night. And would feel just as uncomfortable to go during the day. Usually in poverty stricken areas. There's areas of Belfast I won't go during the day or night. Areas of London, Glasgow, Liverpool, or every major city in the UK at night.
Of course it's a culture problem. It's a class culture problem. Pussy footing around it and blaming it on ethnicity will never solve it.

People arent roaming the street stealing from shops just so they can feed themselves, they roam the street stealing from shops and mug people so they can buy a new mobile phone. That isn't poverty.

The closest you will get to poverty is probably with pensioners in this country.
Everyone has clean water, everyone gets free healthcare, everyone gets a free education, everyone can get clothing, everyone can get shelter, everyone can get money to feed themselves. Where is the poverty?

Abaolute guff. Everyone has clean water. Provided you have a roof over your head. Everyone gets free healthcare, provided you have an address and can get a GP, otherwise it's A&E for only the most extreme of injuries and you'll need a GP note for prescriptions so an address, try getting that when homeless. Everyone can get clothing. Which is the second most stolen item from stores, after? Food. No, everyone can't get shelter. Everyone clearly can't get money to feed themselves. Like I said, middle class bubble. You haven't a clue.

Lets not forget I have a 1st class degree in Mechanical Engineering from Edinburgh and also an MPhil in Energy Technologies from Cambridge. I doubt I would be chewed up and owned in any sort of debate.
