***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

The final event of the specials was the best again. Dusted off my 190E, gave it an oil change and we were good to go. Had a great race, claiming first at the end of the penultimate lap. Really enjoyed that one.
I usually like the first and last events - one requires consistent accurate lapping, the other is just driving it like you stole it. You should be just able to lap cars, though I did have the Abt Audi with 500bhp.

It does look like these challenges work best with stock cars - its a real shame they get removed rather than stop being worth credits as Id like to do a few again...

Does anyone know which car is best for B-spec 'American Championship' in the Extreme Series? Even my Corvette Chevrolet ZR1 is getting hammered and I'm using a level 25 driver!!

Chapparal 2J will propably win it easily.

Only problem is that the car isn't a prize car and costs a few million.

What would be the best car to buy out of the German touring cars in the online dealers, to win the last seasonal event and the german touring car championship?

I have an A4 touring car that I won, but even fully tuned, my B-spec driver can't win with it.

Can you only get it from the Used Car Dealership?

The black Lexus Touring Car from the Lexus Dealership that is £750,000 can compete, and when fully tuned can wipe the floor. ;)

Just managed to do the last seasonal in my A4. Fun race :D.

Might have to look into the Lexus though if my B-spec driver still cant do the german touring car races.

On second thoughts, i'm buying the lexus anyway. It looks awesome! :D

Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II, which is a prize car for winning the Dream Car championship in A-Spec or possibly the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car which you can get from the dealership under Gran Turismo, don't know what it costs, 3.6m?

Oh and if anyone is bored and looking for a challenge check out this thread http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18232040

FUUUUUUU PD, ruin my collection of rare touring cars that took ages to acquire, just put them all in the online dealer, great -_-

I already had that car in my garage. How the hell does my Ford GT 06' full tuned at nearly 900BHP not beat a Ford GT LM Spec II?! (roughly 700 BHP)

I need a German car for Expert B-Spec event Schwarzwald League, can't decide whether to get one of the touring cars from online collectors or save up a little but more and buy the Audi R10 TDi race car.

Any suggestions?
