Do you drink alone?

I occasionally drink alone and every so often will get drunk by myself and enjoy it too.
Usually in slight company of others, vent or phone etc.

I don't drink alone to get drunk on purpose, sometimes i just fancy a beer after a hard day at work.

When i am out with people i usually avoid having a few for social reasons. On the fact that its not very good for your health to just go for a few each night.
I will drink water. Bar maids often give me funny looks. But on the dieting and exercise side of things i was losing weight and toning up while all my uni friends got bigger because of how much they drank.

Binge drinking often makes up for this, but I'm not the sort that goes out every weekend without fail, you will be lucky to see me out once a month.

Sometimes you can't help yourself with treble vodkas and mixer for £2 a pop.

I'd have a couple of glasses of wine at home if my wife was out and I fancied it with dinner. I travel a lot for work and am often on my own, I certainly have a drink with dinner then (someone else is paying so sometimes I have quite a few;)).

I do, like I had a bottle of Becks last night with my dinner. Just fancied a beer.

I have had a bottle of wine and a bit before on a friday night when I was alone, didn't realise I'd gone through it all as was watching a film.

Drink to drink, not to get drunk though. Don't see the point in going out to get smashed on my own, sitting on the sofa. Yay...

If the gf is away on work then I'll buy a bottle of wine for the evening and settle down to a film or something. Don't drink to get hammered or anything, though.

A single drink in the eve on my own very rarely, and I have no problem getting tipsy when online gaming provided vent/teamspeak/etc are being used.

Would never get ****faced on my own though.

AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN PEOPLE STOP CALLING WHISKY WHISKEY!?

Whiskey = Irish
Whisky = Scottish

I drink Irish, thus Whiskey and given that the majority of historical evidence points toward Ireland being the birthplace of modern whiskey, ipso facto it would be the correct spelling.

So in short, no. Don't bring caps lock to a pedant's revolt.

I once sat playing Team Fortress 2 with a 10 glass of vodka and a bottle of coke. I woke up the next morning terribly hungover and with no vodka or coke left. I then checked my computer to see whether I'd left any evidence of what I'd been up to and lo and behold found about 10 screenshots of me as top of the server

Were you hosting an empty server? ;)

Drinking to get drunk? No.

Drinking because I fancy a drink and accidentally getting drunk in the process? Sometimes :D

This. I'm not a drinker myself but don't see anything wrong with having a bottle or two during a night of gaming or whatever else floats your boat. I'm sure I've done it a few times in the past.
