Bizarre mysteries

Ummm.... is this part a joke?? I hope so!

Because I'm a Geologist and if you aren't joking you might as well defecate on my degree certificate haha!

I was going to comment on that too, but decided he must be having a bit of a laugh...:p

Otherwise everything we know about Geology (and Physics) is wrong...:D

I don't think your post needed an otherwise... there is no otherwise!!! We aren't wrong haha! :)

Well... Until someone like Wegener* comes along and tells us we're all wrong...;)

Until then I'll be using current day geodynamic and geophysical knowledge...:D

*Yeah I know continental drift isn't right but it did set the scene for plate tectonics

Numbers stations interest me. The fact that they have been used recently in both Fringe and CODBLOPS also intrigues me. Would love to see if anyone has explained them yet :)

Most likely government use for spies etc but nothing to confirm this.

Apparently drug cartels may of been using them to deal without been traced or tracked or at least to foil police/army raid attempts.

I find it all very interesting.

What about those underwater cities that have been located? Don't know if they'd fall under "bizarre mysteries" but I'm sure I saw a documentary or at least an advert for one a while ago.

These are some of my favourites but not really a bizarre mystery.
Man's history will have to be re-written.

Most of those are near coastlines or have had local geological changes around them that has meant a town/village has been submerged.

Sometimes man mad as well, when dams have to be built entire towns have to be abandoned due to the reservoir.

It's pretty crazy to think just how much of the Earth is undiscovered!

As I recall, more men have walked on the moon than been to the deepest parts of the ocean. Something I have always wished I could do is remove all the sea off the planet, would be immense to look around. Shipwrecks, previously unknown ruins and so on. Really do think we should investigate our depths more.

Yeah I don't really think the earth is hollow with giant humans walking around it :p :D but I do find the whole idea of it totally fascinating, it would definitely be a superb idea for a movie! :D

I take it you didn't see Brendan Fraser's Journey to the Centre of the Earth?

It WASN'T a great idea for a movie hahaha

The bloop mystery just makes me wonder what could be down there, like a super massive squid or possibly an underwater alien base.

I'm pretty sure the Ice Calving explanation is a lot more solid that underwater alien and giant squid :)

I'm not saying there aren't some Bizarre mysteries out there... but I don't think this is too out there..

That's why that Smirnoff advert is pretty cool.
