Sorry, its a misappropriation of the phrase 'Truth will out' which i believe is a Shakespearianism . That is to say, the only sure result of the proliferation of nuclear arms must be the mutually assured destruction of everybody. It is certainly a goal of organisations like NATO to prevent nuclear arms from falling into rouge, unstable undesirable or unsuitable states.
 
I have read a few bits on some of those weird conspiracy forums. Some people are actually spending loads stockpiling supplies etc.

The only question I have for them is what is gonna happen and why do you believe you will survive the initial disaster?

If nothing happens they are gonna be pretty out of pocket. Since there is no Guarantee I would prefer to spend the money on a holiday that I know will happen and I have a very good chance of surviving.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. YOUR KIT SHOULD BE IN A PORTABLE CONTAINER located near an exit of your house. This is so you can grab it on your way out of the house in a serious emergency. Do not overload your kit--you may have to carry it long distances to reach safety or shelter.

2. EACH FAMILY MEMBER SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN KIT with food, clothing and water. Distribute heavy items between kits.

3. ENCLOSE EXTRA CLOTHING, MATCHES, PERSONAL DOCUMENTS, AND OTHER ITEMS that are damageable by smoke or water in plastic to protect them. If it's raining when you have to evacuate, you will appreciate the dry clothing.

4. KEEP A LIGHT SOURCE in the top of your kit, so you can find it quickly in the dark.

5. PERSONALIZE YOUR KIT. Make sure you fill the needs of each family member.

6. INSPECT YOUR KIT at least twice a year. Rotate food, and water. Check children's clothing for proper fit. Adjust clothing for winter or summer needs. Check expiration dates on batteries, light sticks, warm packs, and water.

7. CONSIDER THE NEEDS OF ELDERLY PEOPLE as well as those with handicaps or other special needs. For example: for babies, store diapers, washcloth, ointment, bottles and pacifiers, and other special supplies.

The earth was not created by Nibiru crashing into a large planet and splitting it off.

The earth was created billions of years ago long before life, by a process called accretion.

maybe billions of years ago some smaller planets did crash into the earth, after all the early solar system was full of rouge planets. Other larger planets crashing into the earth formed the earths moon.

Nibiru does not exist, We would know more about it, have seen it by now, and life is still here after all.

If the sun in orions belt is going super nova and it is 600 light years away, even if it did wouldn't the light or affects take 600 years to get here?

Sumerian texts do not say Nibiru will destroy earth, this is a modern misconception the mayan don't even mention it. The last time Nibiru would have been here was around 1500BC and modern science only discovered the over planets in last 200 years so what chance would they of seeing something as far out as that? Hocus Pocus it probably is but I have just finished reading Zecharia Sitchins Earth Chronicles series and I find it ver interesting the parallels with the Hebrew Bible / sumerian / egyptian / Assyrian / Hittite texts and cultural myths/legends.

To say that modern science knows everything our ancient cousins did is wrong there are lots of long forgotten knowledge our relatives in antiquity knew that we don't know. Not saying its all true but some of the description in those ancient texts when read for what they are and not as some kind of metaphor and allegory they really are fascinating.

anyway a jolly good read and I recommend the books to everyone.

If they based their prediction of this happening on visual data, then that data is already 600 years old.
 
I'm surprised at the amount of poorly-veiled teenage angst in this thread. People really want the world to be wiped out? Do you hate your life so much? While I'm prone to mysanthropy in high doses, I still really love my life. Sounds like there are a lot of sad & lonely people out there.
