Honestly though I like to do it myself but recently I have chickened out and gone to a local hand car wash and paid a fiver. They do a decent enough job but not as good as when I do it.

Then again, I sit in my car while they clean it rather than go watch a film and come back to find its disappeared.

Bit of a thread revival, but does anyone know places where I can go and use a snow foam on my car? I know lots of petrol stations have jet wash areas, but I also want to give the car a once over and it seems that snow foam is good for giving the car a quick wash down...I just dont want to buy one, and as I said, where I live at the moment, I dont have anywhere I can wash the car effectively anyway.

jet wash is about your only choice.

Unless you've got a mate that works for somebody that has a truck wash or similar.

Have you considered investing in the kit yourself?
Towards the end of last year I bought:

Nilfisk Pressure Washer
Snow Foam Lance

Add to the hose I already own and I can now snow foam my car whenever I like.
I'm not risking the paintwork, or somebody not doing a good job.
Don't know if I'll ever make the money back - but like being able to do things properly whenever I like.

Except he's wrong - we even have a touchless car wash on the Isle of Wight ffs, and have done long before that video was made.

As for hand washes, they are often worse than a half-decent car wash. They so very often use the same mitts and chamois' all day long, and won't hesitate to continue using one that has been dropped on the floor.

Where I live at the moment I basically cant wash my car. We live in an apartment block with underground car park, but there are no water or power facilities down there.

I appreciate you can see brushes, but this car wash also has a touchless mode than also costs around £8.

I'm trying desperately to remember the manufacturer, as they have some videos on their website, however my memory is failing me this morning.

I wash mine in the rain. The car is already wet and I just pour a watering can mixed with demon shine over it. The rain does the rest of the rinsing.
